Cried probably at least 10 times haha. It was so hard to leave him at the airport. He's incredible, I can't wait to start a new count down! I hate that he's still in NY without me... Well on a positive note, he's what he said he was, you two had a great time, the chemistry IS there, and instead of coming on here crying because you're heartbroken, you WILL get to have another countdown. Her daughters are now wanting to come here as well. That would be awesome since I have only had phone and text conversations with them. I'm going to meet him at the security check point in the airport. Doesn't it seem like as the time get's closer...you play in your mind over and over again how you all are going to react to each other when you first see each other?! That's all I keep thinking about. Are we going to hug and kiss? Will he be nervous? I know I already am nervous. I still think he's oblivious as to how uncomfy it makes me feel about him bringing that girl, but ahhhh at least he'll be here for a month. I'm throwing myself into wedding planning so that I wont be thinking about how long it's gonna be until I see him. My friend checked with one of the wedding shops and they said that it was crazy at how many weddings were being planned for June of next year. Shoo, I can't wait to say "I do". I'm jealous, but I just got to spend a whole 9 days with my sweetie when I know a lot of you only get maybe 3 if you're lucky, so I can't complain. I'm getting back on my horse and searching for a program that will get me to Spain ASAP haha. There are 4-week TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) courses that are followed by 6 to 12 month paid teaching contracts. There's also a 3 month home-stay program where I could live with a Spanish family (which would be so awesome!) and teach them English, and the program I really want to join is assisting in English classes as a cultural ambassador during the full school year. I was too late to sign up for it this year, so the next start date I could get in on is in October of 2010. I dont' want to wait that long, plus TEFL certification and previous teaching experience in Spain would probably guarantee me a spot! AND I'd be over there even longer! I want to go there to be closer to my sweetie, but I'm looking at things in perspective. If things don't work out with him, I'll be heartbroken and feel left alone in a different country, but life must go on. I always say I fell in love with the country before I fell for the boy. erg! I am away for 3 weeks of this time with my mates , and when I get home onnly 3 weeks to go !! I am finding it so tough especially when i am on my own, I feel better once I have spoken to her on a day but going a few days drives me crazy ... never felt like this and its doing my head in! I recently lost my job which put an end to me going over to USA with my children in the summer holidays. I gave the news to my love he was upset as you can imagine. He has been over to UK 3 times and as i am eventually going to move over there i wanted to go over for 4 weeks and get a real taste of what it is going to be like. My bf then said just let me pay for the flights .............................and me being me wouldn't accept that, too much pride ....stupid i know. After many times of saying no its something i have to do i gave in as i so want to be with him and so do my children. So i sent off for our passports which i should have done months ago but kept holding it off as i was so upset i lost my job and wasn't able to go. Only thing is i am not sure my passports will come in time i know they have received them and as its a renewal for me it only takes 3 weeks. I feel so negative that my passports wont come and until they come i cannot book a flight. Just feeling sorry for myself and wanted to share it with you all. Link to post Share on other sites

B took me to an amazing restaurant for a romantic dinner on our last night. We watched the sunset and shared a bottle of wine. SO perfect. *sigh* Only 36 days til 1st semester is over and he'll be home for almost 3 weeks! And only about 100 days til I go back down to Grand Cayman! :bunny: Link to post Share on other sites
