nicole430 Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 2 days! on friday i'll be picking him up a JFK...im so nervous about it, that airport is huge. ive only been there once. ive never had that 'pick up your boyfriend/girlfriend at the airport and run into eachothers arms, spin around while kissing' movie moment before, haha, so i wonder what its gonna be like to see the guy ive been missing from him being half way around the world. anyone else been to JFK? ahh im so nervous lol. im always shy at first when i dont see him for a while. the 2 hour drive home is gonna be intense...i wont be able to wait until we get to his house!!! hehe
SophieA Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 Don't be nervous Nicole. I pick my guy up from O'Hare alllllll the time. The easiest thing to do is wait in the cell phone lot if they have one. Then just have him call you when he's waiting outside. Or meet at the baggage claim. That works too. 15 days!!!!!! I can't wait to go down to the island to be with him!
Author Miad's Princess Posted October 14, 2010 Author Posted October 14, 2010 I got word yesterday that our visa's have been approved, i'm having to postpone the trip till november though as my Son has hospital appointments on the 28th this month and my Daughter is making her confirmation on the 3rd of November. All going well we will be heading out there sometime around the 18th. So for now i'll say 35 days

Now the fun can start, and since I got food poisoning monday, everything I need to get done has been backed up which means I will be even more busy and the days will go by even more quickly.
nicole430 Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 about 14 hours until i see him ive still got sooo much to do before i leave for the airport tomorrow. sleep, shower and get all ready, pick up a prescription, get mani/pedi, stop at walmart and pick up a bunch of things hes gonna need at his house....aaaaaahhhhhh. i still dont know what time to leave to go get him, airport is a little less than 2 hrs away but with the weather and traffic idk what to expect. its in queens

Wellll...your post made me smile because you sounded so genuinely happy for me! i didnt even get to do the mani/pedi or run to the pharmacy because i ran out of time and it was the ONLY time where i was like "ughhhh i just need 2 more hours, why couldnt the plane come 2 hours later?!" LOL. i was so happy to see him at the airport, but the poor guy was so sick from traveling and then had over a 2 hr ride back home with me w/ a bunch of traffic. I spent most of the day with him and now hes seeing his brother and other family here for a few hours...waiting for him to call me so i can go sleepover. i hope he doesnt fall asleep, but im just so glad hes homeee. SophieA - those 13 days will fly, trust me. personally, i think its the last like 4 or 5 days that i wanna pull my hair out.
