Even though he left for his year long work time away 75 days ago, it really seems like it's only been a few weeks. The countdown really helps me. I look forward to adding a little x and seeing the number of days diminish every night. The remarkable thing is how quickly 10 days go by. A week after he left, I had my doubts about a year apart. Boyfriend and I had our check in today on how we're both feeling about the relationship and both of us agree that there's no regrets and things are going very well :-D Link to post Share on other sites

I enjoy counting down to the point when the long distance relationship transforms, once again, into a relationship. In 11 days I will be seeing my boyfriend for the weekend when he comes down to meet my family and friends. Then in exactly 6 weeks I will be moving to live with him for at least a year and a few months. :bunny: I would say permanently but that all depends on how long it takes my permanent residency to go through, and that could take up to a year or so, although I'm hoping for it to go though quickly in like 6 months or so. We were kinda worried that we'd have to postpone for another week since when we looked at tickets last night they had went up by some 500 dollars, which we couldn't afford. But with some effort I found him a ticket for $800 as opposed to the $1300-$1400 range we'd been seeing everywhere else. Now I just need to book the hotel. Link to post Share on other sites
