Countdown - How long till you see your SO?

Recommended Posts

Thing is I know she's bipolar. When we began dating that was the first thing she told me. She's medically diagnosed. I know she doesn't mean things but idk at times it's to much. Idk what to do I love her a lot and I know she loves me to but when she gets these random episodes she's heartless.

Start a thread, Ani.

If you feel up to it.

I'd like to weigh in.

Oops! Uh, on topic...35 days.

Funny how the drudgery of the plane travel is completely eclipsed by the excitement of seeing him again.

The 10 hours passes in a flash and next thing I know, I'm rounding a corner at Heathrow airport with a pounding heart and big grin on my face.

Ah, I feel you! I'm so excited to see him that I completely forget about the dreadful 9 hours on the plane.

Also, it's funny for me to think that my boyfriend will be landing at Heathrow in 30-odd days as well! :)

On a lighter note, I wanted somewhere to brag, we are ending our distance in 30 days!!! I'm flying there the day after Thanksgiving to finish transferring to her university. We both can't believe how lucky we are for external things to be working out<3.

Love overpowers everything in it's way<333

Please keep bragging, I love to read people being able to close the distance at last. Good luck for the future!

Just a few more days! Then in a week in a half, he surprised me by buying me a ticket out and asking me to accompany him to his brothers wedding. Then in a few short weeks after that, we will be spending the holidays (3 weeks) together! This is going to be a great great month!

I totally feel you cerridwen! 10 hours passes and then I'm in Heathrow! :D

10 days for me. :bunny:

And, I agree, Ani, you should start a thread - I think there are many posters who can give you insight, advice or just support on this so you won't feel so alone. :)

I'm astounded by what she said to you - where your cousin and your father are concerned. :( I wonder if she feels that she can't take any more stress, if it unbalances her (I know something of that), but she should be able to say that, and apologize for not being able to give you the support that you need. That's what I would do anyhow. ♥ Maybe she would be embarrassed to admit it, so she projects onto you?

On-topic: best of luck to those of you in an LDR. My sister married her boyfriend, finally, last month. he kept putting it off, so I don't know what finally happened. But she's trying to move to Canada now. They had to wait a certain amount of time to file the papers, and I don't know when she finds out if she's accepted.

:bunny: I was talking about heathrow, the other day. I lived just down the road, in a village they wanted to flatten in order to expand their airport. (Sipson village.)

With everyone talking about Heathrow, I'm picturing a meet-up.

Thanks C :D Hope all is well with you :)

I love blue skies though I don't mind it being a little bit cold in the winter. I just hope it doesn't rain or snow on an inconvenient day as the transport infrastructure doesn't do too well when that happens. Though it is lush to watch the snow falling when I'm tucked up indoors where it's warm!

Does anyone else just hate saying goodbye? We seem to cry like two babies every time one of us leaves... But I had a great, great week to say the least. My SO doesn't wear his heart on his sleeve usually but he said two things he's never said before. He called me the 'love of his life' and he said he would like to marry me at some point. Holy cow...! haha!!

New countdown is 19 days (!!) and then I'll be picking him up from the infamous London Heathrow airport :D
