It's going to be at least 6 months. I will, if things go smoothly, have my interview around March. Still ages away. Which is why I'm glad I'll be seeing him in December. 117 days :laugh:

Lol, well I have exactly 7 weeks left. That seems like a long time but my job's been giving me more hours so I'm hoping that will help time pass by more quickly.

One month done, three to go...

Well. I never would have guessed. I hope the 3 months go quickly for you. :bunny:

116 days for us. I shouldn't have counted how many days it was...

13 days (She reminds me of the countdown every day, lol). I'm in Philly, she's in Houston. We're trying to see each other every month. We have been successfully doing this since she moved three months ago.

2 weeks until infinite hugs.

We live about 8 hours away by car, and have for the last 11 months. We have been together almost 3 years now. We try to see each other once a month, but with work and my school schedules its becoming impossible. The longest we've gone is 2 months and that was torture. My heart goes out to all of you that have to wait longer. *hugs*

Thanks, I've never been in this situation before, and wouldn't have thought I was the type either. But we met while she was living here, got two months into the relationship then she has to go back to her country until after x-mas. then moving over here for good, and we can see if it works out.

So we have about the same time to wait? I don't have it down to the day, but hopefully early January... wait, that's four months from now, not three! Ay caramba...

Prices went down so we bought the tickets tonight. SO got so excited about me coming he got excited and had to go "shower". It's times like that that I realize he really loves me a lot. Or at least he desires the hell out of me. Or maybe he's just a horny guy... =/

Well, whatevs! I am flying out on the morning of October 13 and will only get to stay for 8 days, but it is better than nothing.

I can't wait!!!

Lucky you. Fall time here is the best time of year to be here IMO. The scenery, the weather, and the Halloween decorations.

Argh I'm jealous, lol. You're leaving about 9 days before I head off to see my SO. :( Anyway I was supposed to be only counting down on Fridays since I leave on a Friday... but what's two days early?;) So 6 weeks and 2 days till I leave for three weeks, woohoo! :bunny::bunny::bunny:

The time I saw him after we became official was in fall of last year (actually it was the exact same dates! Over our Fall Break). So this will be an anniversary of sorts for us. I love going to Ann Arbor since it has so much sentimental value for me, but I especially love it in the fall. It is chillier than what I am use to here in the south, but it is quite pretty.

He lives in a quiet, woodsy area on campus, so last Oct. we had plenty of enjoyable walks to the store, or just around the area. It will be nice, especially considering over the summer he was living on central and every night there were police sirens, all night parties, and random drunk people screaming "WHOOOOHHHH!!!!!"

Aero, you get to be with your guy for almost a month. I get mine for just over a week. I believe I'm the one who is jealous. :o

In Ann Arbor?

That school is not known for its parties.....compared to the other universities in the state.

One more hour and I head out that way for work. Joy.:laugh:

Apparently central campus is known for partying. The people who lived in the complex across from my SO had one going every night, but they were always done by 2am, which was nice. He was also on what I would call a "fringe" neighborhood. One block down was quite nice, but a block down in the opposite direction was kind of icky.

How crappy working the night shift! I don't think I could do that anymore.

It has its pros and cons. The drive home is peaceful. Eventually when they hire newbies I will have a chance for better hours. It also is good because with the time difference CE is off of work around the same time as me. Easier to talk to each other.

I get as much free diet coke as I want. I love it.

Ahh, well that works out. I try to fit my schedule so that I am off no later than 6:30. I do have two night classes that goes until 9:30; but my SO and I are usually on skype, so he hears the lecture... or at least my teacher's mumblings since my mic on the laptop isn't that great. :p
