carol
what i have literally had to do to lose weight is sit down make a menu for the week, allowing only 1500 calories a day!! no junk included either...i know it sounds hard and tedious but once you get into the swing of it you automatically will know what you can and cannot eat. for example, for breakfast i have a plain bagel 150 calories, one teaspoon of grape jelly 20 calories and 1/2 cup of 1% cottage 90 calories and that comes to only 260 calories for breakfast. if you have 5 meals of 300 calories each that is also 1500 calories, if you think of it that it may be easier. i have subway alot too, their low fat subs have only around 290 calories and they are pretty filling. stay away from white flour stuff except the bagels are white flour, but like potatoes, pastas, junk food of course. actually they say to stay away from the white flours but i eat it all the time because i am a very picky eater. i eat the lean cuisines as well, the budget entrees are very good too, i buy the zita budget entrees and have at least one a day. anyway you can make 1500 calories last a day that would be great for you. i don't know if i can put this on here or not but i will try, it is alink for free diets http://www.myfreediet.com they set up the whole meal plan for you and have substitues for what ever you don't like. i also gain muslce easier then anything. i started out doing a ton of cardio a day, believe me you get use to it. with the weights just lift light weights for toning only, join a gym if you can or the local ymca is cheaper and some have schloarships that lowers the monthly payments. try 30 minutes a day of cardio, find out your target heart rate and work up to that, do the 1500 calories a day, it really is not that hard, once you get use to it and know what foods are what, it almost becomes 2nd nature. some people weigh their food but i don't evenbother, i use to but now i know what an ounce of meat looks like. do the weights because that helps to speed up your metabolism. keep at it and you see results and they come off fast if you eat the lower calorie meals and the cardio and weights. don't deprieve of yourself of a little goodie now and then either. once a week i allow myself a tcby yogurt with all the goodies on it, hot fudge, choclate chips, whipped cream and marshmallow topping. during the week if i really want to indulge in a goody i just have but of course it has to come out of my 1500 calories. so there is help, and you know the first weight loss i had was in my chest too. i was not that big anyway but i went from a 40 to a 36, and i am happy about that too. since i don't think big breasts are all that great anyway, it does not bother me and it is more in proportion to my body now anyway. good luck, and do a search, try google, and look up diet tips, there are a ton of them. good luck and you can do it!!!!!! yes
losing weight may be a good idea, but being attractive is much more about attitude than the actual look. could you possibly get some counselling so that you get out of the depression & start to like yourself? i think the #1 reason people have relationship problems is because they don't like themselves, just the way they are... best of luck, -yes PS many men like big chests! Also, don't ignore these guys who're shorter than you - i've seen many happy couples where the girl is bulky, and the guy is tiny.

longlegzs80
I a way I can kinda relate to you as far as your guy friends and being attractive, and them not being interested in you. The reason you have guy friends is because they had an attraction to you. And I believe what you have is curves. And from what I see from black women, they look good, they have curves womenly figures. Just accept it. But if this is truely bothering you about the weight thing, I would try a plan where you drink slim fast every day. Trust me, it helps, both my mother and a friend of mine drank it and it helped them out alot where they lost the weight. Your next thing is excersize. Join the gym or something. I really don't know what your deal is, it sounds like you carry all your weight in your chest which I wish was my problem. But if this is affecting you that much, do the slim fast thing and go to the gym. Plus watch what you eat and you should be set. But with what you describe, you sound fine, and so what you have curves. Someone will appreciate them someday just give it time. Take care and good luck.
pandora
Hi I had the same problem. Even after losing lots of weight still had a huge chest, then as is usual put the weight back on. Four years ago decided to lose the weight again but this time instead of "dieting" I practically eliminated fat from my diet. As breast tissue constitutes 70% fat, reducing fat intake causes them to decrease. As with other fatty areas, shoulders, waist and hips. I eat more or less what I want (within reason) but keep a very strict eye on fat content. I do not diet, just eat more healthily. This combined with exercise, a positive attitude and good self-image cannot fail!! Good luck and learn to love yourself, your worth it!!
