Through out the night, I flirted with our waitress. She flirted back and would tell me things about her self in the few seconds she had to talk. By the end of the night, I asked her for her number. She said she could not give it out and asked for mine. I told her I would give it to her, but I did not expect a call. When she returned with my receipt, she had wrote up the top 'Thank you, [my full name]. I WILL text you, FYI' As she handed it to me, she pointed it out and verbally reassured me she would text. I told her again that I did not expect anything. I have hit on waitresses before with no such luck, but this is the furthest I have got with one. Good chance or is she just being nice? That is showing that you lack confidence and in fact don't feel that you are worthy of a call from her. You were also basically calling her a liar because she said she would call /text you.
