We parted ways, and actually he came up with the idea of seeing each other just as friends a few days after our last sexual encounter. It was a good idea because it reaffirms our friendship status. I miss him and I probably will for some time. I am glad that this part of our relationship is over in some ways. I do know that I will not go down this path again. A one-night stand is one thing (even it has its problems), but fwb is too much for one person or the other. What I never realized (or maybe accepted) is that I always thought that my past fwb relationships worked when in reality they only worked for me. The guy always got hurt. Thanks again for talking to me. Now to get this chump of an ex-bf out of my life for good, so that I can start clean.... Link to post Share on other sites
