Working at a Bar...

Recommended Posts

well its really not TEELING him what to do.. its more like asking him. i don't nor' have told any of my ex's and my b/f what to do.. i just suggested to him that i didn't feel that it was such a great idea.

Any ways, he decided not to go with it because it was something he felt wasn't really his thing anyways....

i dont think i had any part in that decision....

There must have been a reason why you didn't think it was a good idea...I'm curious...did you picture him as being receptive to drunk females who are likely to go for a cute bartender? Did you picture a possibility that cheating might happen? Something would have trigger that...perhaps someone has been unfaithful to you before, or you are simply worried...in either case, I wouldn't be surprised if another situation in the future causes you to have similar questions about an issue...one that he doesn't decide against doing like he did this time...which would leave you to see it through, I'd just be prepared that's all...

LADIES: Would you let your boyfriend work at a bar part-time while going to school?

MEN: Is this okay to do, or is your girlfriend just overeacting if she says NO!

To be honest I would date anyone regardless of any stereotype but it would depend on the individual. It’s pretty obvious what she does to get those extra tips, but all I can really do is shrug and say who am I to judge? Yeah I'd prefer to date someone with a non-service job but me in her situation I'd do the same thing. Flirting with strangers for cash is really sucky and I wouldn't want my S/O doing it. I guess it depends on what he is expected to do at the bar. My friends have worked in bars (I never have, too ugly) describe themselves as human beer dispensers not much mention of flirty behavior on their part.

Tell me, what is the attraction people have to it? Everyone else your age is out having fun, and you get to be their servant for the night. I'd try to help him find a better job personally.
