Mustang Sally
I sometimes suspect that some of these trolls are regular posters, posting under a different ID to get a rise out of specific people. My thoughts exactly. In fact, I might just bet money on this one....if you know what I mean....
blind_otter
How many high school reunions take place over the course of several days ? The only one I ever went to was a dinner and dance that was over in 4 hours. Are you sure that there wasn't some other purpose for this trip? Mr. Lucky My 10 year high school reunion was a 3 day extravaganzaa. There was a pool party on Friday night, a picnic on saturday, a banquet saturday night, and brunch on sunday. I'm just sayin. johnny47
Hmm. Maybe we're just devoid of much opportunity for true entertainment here, in my neck of the woods, but it's not uncommon at all for HS reunions (meaning > 10-15 yrs out) to be a "weekend" ordeal. This could be viewed as either good or bad obviously (I'm in the "Who gives a sh*t?" camp, but that's just me...). Anyway, my point is, that most reunions in my corner of the world are several day affairs (Oops! Damn, those Freudian slips....), so I think this is not outside the realm of possibility. I agree with others who said that maybe we need a few more pertinent details? The story (as related in the OP) doesn't necessarily add up to "Hester Prynn" for me. I do not believe he is stable. I think he wants out of his marriage and has found a way. If he really loved his wife he would put everything on the table. Not about the past reunion but about the future and what he will do if he found she was unfaithful. Also he should say that this is a two street. However I think that this is not a two way street and that he is guilty of something himself.
