men in jobs that appeal to women?

Recommended Posts

I've played by the rules and now in my late 40's I have my financial affairs in very good order. I'm at the point where I can afford the pay cut involved in starting a new career. I'm too old to switch to a physical job, IE: lumber jack, fire fighter, fisherman. Not up for years of education involved in being an MD or attorney. I have only an AS degree.

A very small part of this decision will be based on what women think of men in certain jobs and the social interactions I'd have with women on the job. Money simply has to be the most important consideration, but job satisfaction is high on the list and the women will play a major role in that.

I'm not a player, but I do enjoy female companionship. Divorced many, many years ago, I feel I'm not marriage material. I'm fun enough to be with but hard to live with. I'm very comfortable with that.

I'd like to hear what various women think of men in various occupations, you can name the ones I excluded if you want.

Open to suggestion about jobs that are good for meeting women.

I ask much, Thanks very much for your input.

I don't understand why you feel the need to change careers. Are you burnt out in what you've been doing up until now?

Yes, I've been doing it for decades, time for a change.

The job must pay, but satisfaction is important. The opposite sex plays a role in job satisfaction, but I wouldn't want to say it was the only factor.
