georgejungle
I'm trying to figure out which to go to, a therapist or just a psychologist/counselor. I just want someone to talk to, someone to spill all my fears to, but i have NO idea where to go to do that. I've always wanted to go, but never wanted to make a big deal out of it..I tend to have periods of doubt where i have NO idea who I am inside. Well, More that, I "know" who i am, but i'm striving to be someone else, someone stronger and more secure, yet there are fears that are like roadblocks to getting there and I can never choose which road to take for fear of wasting time getting lost. it's dumb and it causes anxiety, restlessness and an unfulfilled fealing inside. Then i'll snap out of it and focus then i'm fine for a few weeks. It's expensive to see a therapist though, right??
Nevermind
It depends. Many insurance companies pay for at least a part of it, if there is a diagnosis. Which is nearly always the case.
star7hjw77
I have been going to a counselor (title is Board Certified Diplomate and Clinical Social Worker) for about two months now and I LOVE her! I was torn in regards to what kind of counseling to seek, but I am super stoked with my decision due to the progress I have made in just 7 sessions. Good luck in your search! Author georgejungle
i looked into it, it's too much money to talk to someone. maybe that's why we're all on here, it's minor therapy, even if it's only typing out your feelings, ha! I'm trying to stay really positive. i'm trying hard.
