Lilith666
My man allway leavs an chair in middle of the way. He never put it back near the table after use. So when I walk fast in livingroom and I do not see it I allvays hurt me on this chair. I have told him so much times (in manny different ways) to put it in place after use but he do not do so. I think one afternoon I we spent more hours talking about that and he says he do not do it to make me crazy but he forgett to put it in place. We are having so manny argue about that. It can seem ridiculous but that make so much stress. I have lost my nerves because of that. So last days when I see that he left this chair again so I take it and throw it away! My man is 30 years old and I am 32. I think he shoud have anough years to not behave like an child. Today I told about that problem allso to his father. Please tell me what can I do. (I am thinking to make an magnet on this chair and table so that the chair goes allone to the table after he used it!)
SoulSearch_CO
Can you change the furniture arrangement somehow so even if he does leave it out, it's not in the way?
tinktronik
Can you change the furniture arrangement somehow so even if he does leave it out, it's not in the way? Brilliant ! A compromise.
Author Lilith666
Can you change the furniture arrangement somehow so even if he does leave it out, it's not in the way? Thats the problem... I can not:( In this flat that is not possible. The furniture stay the best way that can.... All other positions of furniture will cause bigger problem.

Well, then why don't you either: A- Tape the chair to the floor B- Throw the chair out C- Dump him b/c he's too selfish to push in his chair. D- Carry around a spray bottle and reinforce your message by spraying him every time he forgets to push the chair in.
Lookingforward
you said you threw it away - didn't that fix the problem ? if you didn't mean that literally.............maybe you should

A - I was thinking about that but the flat is not ours so I do not want to damage the floor from owner. B - Thats my chair:( C- Sometimes I feel so! but I cant do it. He have manny other good sides. D- Thats not bad idea! But unfortunnately doesnt not work even with my cat

SoulSearch_CO
Then hide the chair somewhere. Haha...I like Tinktronik's solutions. Especially the water bottle.
Author Lilith666
Then hide the chair somewhere. Haha...I like Tinktronik's solutions. Especially the water bottle. That is an interresting idea!! I am going to try that! And everytime I hidde it (that can be allso in garage or flat from house ownerin (she is my friend)), he have to search it!!! (I hope he will not just leave it hidden and take other one from kitchen). Thank you a lot for this idea.
SoulSearch_CO
I would just keep hiding each chair he puts at the table if he leaves it out. LOL Then he'll eventually run out of chairs and you can tell him that maybe when he chooses to be a tad bit considerate and push the chair in, he'll earn one back. hahahaha It's like dealing with little kids sometimes - I swear. "No chair for you for a week!" heehee
Touche
This is a serious problem. This kind of thing only gets worse over time. The chair will be pulled back more and more over time. You'll see. That's good that you threw the chair out but he'll just do it with the next one. And the one after that. And then what? Throw every chair out of the house? I guess you could always just eat buffet style. And I'm just curious but how do you handle the toilet seat problem?

Yes, the idea with chairs is really good:) I will practicing it.

Was really not throwing chairs out of hous but throwing arround. The chair was like you say, pulled out more and more with time and that has become to be very anoying. With toilet seat, fortunatelly, there is no problem:) I explained once to my husband that if he leave it open manny things can fall inn allso monney what wouldnt be good. I allso told an story from an womman who left it open and an rat have come through the toilet and was running in the bathroom! So the problem was fast solved and he never left it open. Sometimes I feel me like I have to teach my husband things which his parents did not do when he was an child (but have to had). Like while sitting and eating to keep our legs near from us. When we stratch them under the table it may disturb other people` place. Allso to put things on the place where they bellong after we used it. ( I am still working on this but I can see with time it is going to be better).
Nevermind
I am calling troll. Your mistakes are strange for a German speaker. They are more like someone who tries to appear German, but isn't. Let's see...
Kenyth
Good call on the trolling, but anyone who took German in High School can get the jist of what you're saying. Not to mention there are software translators available everywhere. You know, my wife leaves stuff out that irritates me, my kid does too. I'm sure I leave stuff out that irritates her. You know what we do? We deal with it and pick it up.

You know what we do? We deal with it and pick it up. That is correct! But if she want to see if I am really from Germany she have to find out somehow my ip number. Or just ask me without testing and predictions. Thats why I do not really want to give my complete answer. And the subject here was about the Chair.... Nah ok, Im living im Hürth, near Köln (Cologne) and I use NetCologne ( http://www.netcologne.de/) for my internet. Here in Hürth there are tv studios and the show "Who want to be an millioner". And we do really use an chair "stuhl" in living room. That is an computer chair. Our pc is in livingroom. I hope it is anough normal to have for people of today if they do not have an separate room for an pc.

Nevermind
Japp. No German native speaker. Maybe not even able to speak German. This could have come from google translator. Who trolls about a chair problem? :lmao: Werte Lilith, Leider bist du im Deutschkurs durchgefallen! Schade. Folgende Dinge musst Du beachten: Groß- und Kleinschreibung, Satzbau, Verbkonjugation und Kommasetzung. Mit ein bisschen Übung wird das aber sicher noch was. Bussi.
