And by not telling me, she never learned her lesson and had a couple more flings during marriage. She didn't think I'd ever find out she cheated during our engagement, but 7 years later, I did. And it was much worse because my kids' lives were turned upside down because of it. It amazes me, TS, how someone who has children, who should be the parental role model, can risk everything and turn their children's lives upside down. Totally irresponsible. Totally irresponsible. I hope you have custody of your children. Well sorry for the threadjack, but no, I don't have custody. I'm the man. I'd have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that she is unfit. Mother's get custody by default unless there is tangible proof of wrongdoing by her. My attorney said that even her live in bf, who was busted for DUI and drugs, isn't reason enough to go for custody. All she would have to do is move him out of the house if she thought I was going for custody, wait for the battle to be over, then move him back in again and say he has changed. He said I have to wait for her to get arrested or something like that. What a crock of s##t! The courts don't care what is best for the children. Link to post Share on other sites

But then there would be the off chance that they are smart enough to hide their stash at her mother's house, they go in, find nothing...then when I DO have something tangible, it would be like crying wolf and I wouldn't be taken seriously. That and if I jump the gun, all it will do is make them cover their tracks better. I thought about calling DCFS myself, and believe me, if I have some proof that they would find something, I'd make the call. Problem is, how do I get the proof? Link to post Share on other sites
