Kelly_Daisy_Cali Posted June 1, 2008 Share Posted June 1, 2008 My boyfriend and I have been dating for 9 months now (and are currently living together) and I've known since the beginning that he had been married before and has 2 kids with his ex-wife. I know it's my insecurities and low-self esteem but it drives me crazy when I'm around them and see them it reminds me of what he shared with her, don't get me wrong I love his kids to death but I need someone to help me with some ways to get over it! I know he loves me, and doesn't have any kind of feelings for her now, but I don't know what to do. I think most of it is jelousy, the fact that I want a child with him but we don't have one yet. We have talked about marriage and having a child together and this is something we both want. I just don't want my child to be "second-best" because he's already been there, and had all the firsts with someone else.
