Hi all

I recently met someone through a dating website. We've been chatting for sometime via IM, moved to phone and last weekend we finally met face to face.

One of the big stumbling blocks is the fact we live a couple of hours away from each other and we both have kids. Mine see their mum every other weekend so i have 2 free days per fortnight. Her daughter doesn't see her dad. On top of that she has a standing arrangement to look after her sister's girl on Saturday's leaving only a few hours free on Sunday.

So i need some ideas on how i can best make some progress here. She's a lovely person and we have very similar values and upbringing. First woman i've met in a LONG time which i can see some serious potential with!

I've suggested meeting up in the school holidays with the kids but thats some time away yet. I don't want to keep pestering her on IM/phone and annoy her.

Just after some ideas on how to show i care/would like more.

Thanks

Let me know when you find out. In a similar sitch myself; met this local girl on a dating site. Both have kids and busy jobs, meaning being away alot. Had a few chats via email, and did get a quick couple of hours to share a drink, which went really well, and both keen for another session. Since then we've been phoning and txting etc, and I've offered a few suggestions for another date, but it never works.

When we talk we talk for hours and she responds to text almost immediately, she dont have a profile on that site anymore, yet a month on and we're still no closer to another date.

Like you I dont wanna be a date-pest, but I also dont want to burn bridges as she seems cool. She doesnt seem the game-playing type, but who knows; just wish when a suggested date dont fit she would offer a suggestion.

Sorry I aint got any suggestions, but best of luck.
