friad
Recently, I have been having strange dreams. The other day, I dreamt about traveling in train and it getting late to the destination…I don’t know what the destination was and where it was taking me….but the ride was quite un-comfortable. And the other one I had was celebrating with my friends in a resort…..now do the two link together….???
Storyrider
Well the train is clearly your life direction. You're not satisfied with your daily experience or where you're going in the long term. On the resort, we need more information. It might mean you are checked out from your real, day-to-day life and living in a sort of holiday fantasy world instead. So the connection would be that your life is off the tracks because you're on a mental vacation.
Citizen Erased
It means nothing. It's a dream. A little story your mind decided to make up because it is bored as you are asleep.
Storyrider
It means nothing. It's a dream. A little story your mind decided to make up because it is bored as you are asleep. That was going to be my second guess.
Trialbyfire
Maybe you feel you haven't accomplished enough in your life since you don't have a goal/destination and you're late. As for the celebrating with friends at a resort, do you need some R & R in your life? Are you going through a stressful period and need a vacation? All guesses pulled straight out of my hidey-hole so don't take it too seriously. I'm no dream interpreter.
LucreziaBorgia
Has someone been giving you emotional or spiritual advice lately about how to turn new or recent acquired education or talents into a better fortune for yourself? Just curious - I guess it depends on your social context. If trains are a regular sort of transportation for you, then it could be that riding in a train represents a way of getting somewhere - but note that you are not driving yourself. You are riding along on someone else's power now (taking courses? learning a new skill? gathering some new knowledge?), and it seems to be taking longer than you want. You want to be driving on your own power, but you aren't sure when you can yet. All you know is a destination, you just don't know when you will get there. The vacation (if it is related at all) could be a look at either a scenario of what reaching your goals can result in (taking a trip with friends to celebrate), or your mind telling you that you need a break and that you are working yourself too hard. So, since you won't actually take a vacation - your mind is providing you with/taunting you with one. The reason I asked if it was emotional or spiritual advice is because advice given from someone close to you, or that you see as a 'parent figure' will hit you harder in the subconscious than if you were getting that same advice but in a more 'business' context from a random career or guidance counselor (unless you had a close relationship, that is). If this is totally off the mark, I apologize - but I figured I'd give it a shot.
JamesM
Perhaps you watched too many Thomas the Tank Engine videos lately? Seriously, I am not a big believer in the idea that dreams have a lot of meaning. Yes, some may to an extent, but many if not all dreams simply are a result of something that has been on your mind or in something you saw.
sara.j
There are many dreams that go un-noticed as we don’t know what they try to say. I too keep on having dreams …and that too weird ones….and I am glad that my friend suggested a dream dictionary that has answers to the different dreams. Its really a good place to get meanings to your dream and can you also analyze the dreams.

donnist
To dream that you are on a train, is symbolic of your life's journey and suggests that you are on the right track in life and headed for the right direction. Alternatively, you have a tendency to worry needlessly over a situation that will prove to work out in the end. To dream of a celebration, represents your achievement toward a higher level of growth. This dream may also be a self-congratulatory one for the goals you have achieved and for the recognition you have gained. You may be honoring some victory, success, or accomplishment. Alternatively, to dream of a celebration, symbolizes freedom and emotional release. Celebration dreams are common for those who anticipate some upcoming turning points or events in their waking life. dreammoods.com
Lovelybird
I dreamed that I didn't know where my destination was when I was on a trip, then I knew that I has some confusions in life, and really need God's guidance. I don't know if yours is this meaning though, I am clueless to other's dreams some dreams have meanings, most don't. I remember before I trust in God, I always looked up dreamdictionary. tried to find out what will happen in my life, none of them had real meanings in my life. but after I believe in God, there are a few dreams that are so obvious to me, that I know what they meant, I guess God revealed me the meanings, but he never intends me to rely on that dream interpretation, and some dreams are pointless. by the way certain person always appears in my dreams these days, I couldn't see his face or something, just know that's him, does that mean that person always think of me? Prodigal Princess
It means nothing. It's a dream. A little story your mind decided to make up because it is bored as you are asleep. Exactly. Trialbyfire
Exactly. God I hate it when people talk about their dreams; it is almost as boring as when people talk about sport. Certain sports like hockey are worth talking about! Nothing beats the adrenaline, testosterone, tactics and mad skills of the players. Sorry for the jack, OP.

This thread needed to be 'jacked! Did you not see the pass Greg Inglis made to Darius Boyd on Wednesday night? Freaking marvellous. How do you get by living in Australia then? Not much happens here so it's always sport sport sport in the media. Sorry if I am contributing to the jacking of this thread. This is all a dream. No-one is off-topic. Prodigal Princess
Where I prefer to talk about the pass! Most of the players are too young for an oldie like me. Not for you though. I wish I was one of those women who liked talking about sport; instead I am the annoying girly girl who wouldn't know a hockey stick from a golf club. The thing with most professional sportsmen though is that they are dumb-de-DUMB. They ruin the fantasy when they open their mouths. It's like - just shut up and start flexing. tinktronik
That you are very strange. I think thats fairly accurate. I don't ever remember having mundane dreams, I wonder if I do ?
LucreziaBorgia
I love it . Sometimes I have a nightmare about babies crawling out of toilets and attacking my animals. What does this mean? To a dream interpreter it would mean that you have been releasing a lot of pent up negative emotion/energy, and in the process have been thinking of new ideas for things going on in your life - unfortunately, these new ideas are things that you are afraid will upset your status quo, and threaten your sense of safety and security. You could make up anything really, and a dream interpreter would be able to assign some meaning to it - and to a certain extent, even making stuff up is driven by the subconscious so even outlandish stuff might have a basis somewhere. There is nothing magic about dream interpretation. Its basically just your brain assigning images and symbols to your subconscious thought - an 'association game' with visual metaphors more or less. Interpreting them is just a matter of matching up the visual symbols with what they may represent in thought.
twice_shy
Exactly. God I hate it when people talk about their dreams; it is almost as boring as when people talk about sport. I dunno, I hate it when people piss, whine and moan about people at the gym trying to better themselves and it messes up their pretty little view of how things should be when working out.
