justine4 Posted June 12, 2008 Share Posted June 12, 2008 I never have any problem with nightmares or bad dreams, but this morning I woke myself up after having a nightmare. I wonder does it mean anything? I dreamt I was naked, sitting on the loo and suddenly lots of daddylonglegs came out of the bath plughole and came towards me and I couldn't get them away. It was pretty scary as I couldn't open my eyes properly to see what was happening (dreams hey??) I looked up online and they say being naked in a dream means you're feeling vulnerable (true enough I guess). Not quite sure where the daddylonglegs or being on the loo comes into it though? Has anyone else had peculiar dreams that they've looked into the meanings of further? Link to post Share on other sites

I had a very bad nightmare al ong while ago that made me jump out of bed. I was dreaming that a big parachute had fallen on me.. and I could not get out. I believe this meant Iwas feeling "Trapped'. Looking back now at the time in my life that I had the dream , I was feeling that way. I am a believer that dreams have some merit and meaning. AP:) Link to post Share on other sites

After reading into dream interpretations on the net its incredibly interesting and I have to say, i'm intrigued to say the very least! You took a brave step and seem to have accepted it wasn't meant to be, at this moment in time, with your ex. Me, well, I'm still well and truly in limbo land. Don't seem to have moved any further forward and am still clinging to the hope that its all going to come back together. You're at a far better stage than I am. I've had em as long as I can remember and felt like it describes there as long as I can remember. I always thought it was bull**** ...but I spose, when you think about it dreams would be like the sub-conscious mind. What you try not to think about could come out, and as we are all alike. It's to be expected that there are patterns in dreams Edit- Looked into it a tad further...My main dream, the one I have a lot Is me jumping, really damn high. ShadowU12345 Posted June 30, 2008 Share Posted June 30, 2008 oohhh, I had a dream pretty similar to yours, where I was being chased outside by a swarm of locust shells. It was very scary. I really do believe that almost everything in your dreams has a meaning. I've purchased books and read countless articles about dream interpretation and meanings. Hmmmm, as for the sitting on the toilet naked, that would seem like you were vulnerable. The grand-daddy long legs, might of symbolized something you fear or are afraid of if you are scared of them. As for not being able to see what was going on may have meant that in your waking life, there is something that makes you vulnerable that you may not have realized so as for closing your eyes, maybe its something that you didn't know was happening or either you didn't want to know what was happening.
