How can I ....

Recommended Posts

I have many freinds who are girls but I always have the same trouble with them, I get closer to them and gradually develop feelings towards them but I **** things up and I don't come out in the proper way so either I scare the girl away and she shtops talking to me or I don't get the response I was hoping for and we stay good freinds but she tells me she doesn't feel the same about me Lately I ran into one of my old college class mates and we started chatting, conversation slowly got hotter and we started flirting and making sexual remarks like her inviting me over to her place and telling me " We'll sit in the bedroom" and stuff like that .... But I know that girl and I know she says those things but doesn't necessarily mean them because she is kind of conservative and its probably all talk Another thing is she is from another religion and in lebanon its a big deal , Girls don't usually get serious with boys who are from other religions ... So I don't know which was to go, should I start scheming to make her fall in love with me or do you think its not gonna happen I only managed to change a freindship into a relationship once and the second time I came very close so I don't know How can I turn this freindship into a relationship

Inviting someone over isn't sexual, nor is saying "We'll sit in the bedroom." This is especially true if they have roommates. Sometimes the bedroom is the only place where you can just have a chat without being interrupted. This is likely the case here, especially if she's conservative and doesn't believe in premarital sex.

Keeping that in mind, how important is sex to you in a relationship? Think about what you can and can't get out of a relationship with her and decide whether or not it's acceptable. If it is, then go for it. Ask her out to dinner sometime.

I'm sort of in a foul mood right now so forgive me for sounding bitter, but a girl recently told me that once you're in the friend zone it's pretty much hard to get out of it. She said that there's gotta be some sort of attraction/impression that you have to make when meeting her for the first time, otherwise, you're not gonna get anywhere despite what you do later on. Of course, this kind of mindset doesn't apply to all girls, but a majority would most likely agree with this.

It does tick me off to be honest but that's life and we have to deal with it. As they say, "attraction isn't a choice". Best we move on, and next time approach a girl "the right" way.
