Does anyone know a site that will let you post a friendship ad?

Recommended Posts

I have been looking at different dating ad sites and what not trying to see if any of them offer friendhip ads...ya know you can place an ad if you are just looking for a friend. And they are all about looking for a romantic relationship....and I am just looking for an email buddy. Ya know, someone to talk to about life, marriage, family, interests, etc..someone that I can email and will email me back on a regular basis. Just because I don't really have time to hang out with friends when I am in school because it takes up too much time, but I value a good friend and it's nice to have someone to talk to, ya know? Does anyone know a site that will let you post a friendship ad? I amjust looking for an email buddy. Anyone know?

If you are looking for someone to buddy with, I am more then willing to talk to you. I love to chat and learn about people I don't know. SO, if you are interested in chatting, please feel free to give me a private message. I will then give you my email address. :D

Most of the personals at yahoo.com, friendfinder.com, etc. have features where you can elect to find friends, pen pals, etc. They let you select the level of interest you desire. Even if they don't, you can write to people and just tell them you have shared interests and you would like to befriend them...no strings attached...and no relationship.

There are many millions of ways to meet people on the Internet. I will spare you my usual suggestion of using search engine http://www.google.com but I will tell you it will help you find many sites for finding friends. Maybe I'll suggest that another time.

I'll be glad to be your e-mail buddy as well. Like Dreamgirl, I usually get nothing but newsletters and junk, so that would be great.

In my own experience, the best kind of friend you can have is one where you can learn about their country, culture what language they speak. It makes the pen pal experience much more fun. You may learn things about their country and what Holidays they celebrate and so on.Im not saying you cant have other good friends, but Im just telling you from my experience. In fact I got some friends in the U.S. that write and we've became very good friends.I also got a couple Indian friends from India.

Good luck.

I just signed up for friendster.Does anyone know if you really have to put your real name in that? Im just not comfortable with that.So I use my fake name and had to make up anything to the town I live in.Im just not comfortable with that stuff. So I just made up anything.I hope thats ok.I wasnt comfortable with some of the things they wanted in order to register.I put that Im single for the registration.I just wanted to leave that part blank but if you dont fill it in then you wont be regestered which really sucks.Im just not comfortable with a big profile. It should of been an optional question. So people wouldnt feel pressured to it.

I understand what you're saying, Patty. The more I looked at that site, I decided not to join it myself. I just thought it might be right for some people, depending on what they're looking for. It's more of a friend community, where you have a group of your friends join and then they network, that kind of thing.

If my friends dont join,I might unregister. Its nice to have but nobody should have to put where they live or marital status, thats just riduculos.I think its best to just register to a site that you only have to put your email address.Or the sites that let you have it be optional is good too.I like the sites that leave some things optional,it makes everything alot easier.

I agree with you Patty. Only put what you're comfortable with. If that doesn't work, then don't join.
