onmyownagain
Didn't think this would happen but I am seeing a solicitor next week and I am starting the divorce!! Fed up with all the threats from her about needing more money etc. from my and recently saying I can only contact her via a Solicitor. So I am getting control back and starting it up myself, sooner this is all over the better, just need to think of grounds now:-) In the UK you need to wait two years unless you say unreasonable behavour, only been six months so need to think something up, sure Solicitor can help me there. Wish me luck!!!
Gunny376
It takes a stong individual to embrace their fears, and make them their own. You can now walk through the "Healing Flames" and become whole again. You can now "Catch the bus to Mexico" and once again be Free again, get back your Life, and control of your Life! FloraPost
It is a great sign. It shows you have some real, deep down, hardcore self respect. I cringe when I see people accept abuse year after year. Funny cause to people who didn't know me really well, it seemed like I did but nope, my soul was free and safe and sound in spite of what my STBXH did. I just delivered my divorce agreement to my exish this week. It was a complex feeling - a lot like being at the top of a rollercoaster hill. Scary, exciting, thrilling, spooky, and an adrenalin rush. Will I live through this? I should. Will it be OK? yeah but I might scream some and clench my fists and eyes shut. But I'll be proud and move on with a NEW LIFE afterwards. Again, congratulations. Author onmyownagain
Wow, she got there first and has started it, oh well. Lots of nasty made up grounds and lies, doesn't really matter in the UK. Doesn't make a difference to the outcome of the divorce. She is going for everything she can think of including the shirt off my back:-) She is in for a bit of a shock I think, my solicitor says the UK basically is 50/50 these days if both parties work etc. Not much longer now until its all over. Author onmyownagain
Are you going to accept the lies? Hi Lishy, nice to hear from you again. I am going to accept the lies, solicitor says what she has said wont make any difference. I could argue but it would only cost more. Just want the divorce over so I can get on with my life and know where I stand financially.
