a former date wants to be friends?

Last September I met this girl from the online personals. We dated for about a week and I felt everything was going great, unfortunately I think it went too fast for her and she said she wasnt ready for a relationship at that time and wanted to be friends. I felt crushed because I really liked her. So we still kept in touch for a few weeks after. She tried to hook me up with a friend of hers whom I wasnt really attracted to. She invited me to her halloween party which she actually invited me to on our first date which seemed strange for her to ask someone she just met, but I went and had an ok time. In november I found out that she was beginning a relationship with a guy that I was actually hanging out with that night at the party and they've been together ever since. For a long time I still couldnt get her out of my head, and felt she was the one who got away. Since November we IM'd each other once in a while until the past few weeks when we IM'd a little more. She actually invited me again to this years halloween party which is almost 4 months away and I accepted.

 

This friday I got an IM from her inviting me to a BBQ Party at her house with her friends for that night, she gave me her phone number to call her. So I called her but I told her I had plans...I felt uncomfortable because of my slight feelings for her and that I did not know any of her friends although I am a pretty social person. I dont have the same feelings for her like I did before because I currently have a girlfriend for about 5 weeks now. she texted me later that night to tell me to please come ASAP, I was surprised she said that.

 

Today I got a text message from her asking me if I had any plans for tonight, I said "I dont know, why?" she said that she's going to the movies with some friends and her BF and invited me to come. I told her ok, seeing how I can be friends with her now and not have those feelings anymore... but doesnt it seem strange that out of no where in the past few days that she's made 2 invitations to me and we havent physically seen each other in over 7 months? Im not sure if she's trying to set me up with a friend of hers and I never told her I have a GF. Im currently waiting for her to call me to tell me the plans but I dont know what to think about this, its very unexpected.
