The website dont date him girl...if you found out someone you were dating was listed, would you continue dating the guy, or would you chalk it up to bitter ex's??

Depends what was said. I think there is always two sides to a story, so I would assume there was SOME truth to the rant.

Have you found a beau on there, or just asking in general?

Because I couldn't picture any woman going through the effort of that level of revenge without a good reason to do it. I've certainly been dicked over by guys before, and would never bother to out him like this. It would have to be a MAJOR doosy for me to spend the energy to discredit his reputation like that.

Do you agree?

Sure...in a sense I agree--I've been screwed over by a man as well, and never really put much energy in revenge. But, I've run accross some women who are clearly not able to get over that someone is just not that into them. And, of course, the man is an ass because of it.

So, keeping that in mind, there is always someone out there who is going to be po'd at you for some perceived sleight. I'm sure there are men out there who don't appreciate some of how I've treated them as well.

So, pretend you met someone, and they are on there...do you continue seeing that person and make your own determination? Or do you stop seeing the person?

These sites are libelous, clearly one-sided to the point of uselessness and probably should be banned. You don't see men making similar sites about 'evil' women, and nor should they be allowed to.

I would ask him what he had done to get on the site, Zicke.

But what if the person didn't know they were on there? Wouldn't it seem like someone is guilty without a trial? And by asking them what they did, or who they pissed off to get on there, automatically would put them on the defensive.

Look, I am not saying that the men on there aren't guilty of something. But, in the end, can one really trust what someone who isn't named themselves says?

This has been kinda bugging me about the site. Ant person holding a grudge can write whatever they want. It just seems skewed.

Yes, but I guess I believe where there is smoke, there is fire. Perhaps not the entire tale is true, but I personally would assume there was some truth to it. But I guess that's because I (perhaps naively so) can't see too many women putting in that effort over an unrequited crush.

I would dump him in a heartbeat. I looked over that site one day and found a guy that my brother went to high school with. The guy was a complete d-bag. I have no doubt that the allegations posted against him are true. For a woman to write about a man on a site like that there has to be some violation of trust or abusive behavior on his part.

Damn. I checked it out. Some guy with the same name as me and some other guys whose names are apparently the same as some of my aliases are listed on there. Amazing coincidence. Glad I'm not on there.

See, I could totally see women putting that kinda effort in. Not all women, but, some women. I actually know a woman who had restraining orders against maybe 3 of my male friends. These men were warned before hand that she "had issues", and low and behold, within 6 months of meeting her, each of these men had restraining orders against them. That could say something about this site as well, maybe where there is bitter women, there is an *******. But, maybe there is just bitter women?

So, to me, it just seems like this site might encourage women to write whatever they wanted, just because something didn't work out with someone, or maybe a phone call wasn't returned, or maybe all the other dating crap people go through.

I don't know, I was just curious to see if people actually put stock in the site, or if people are more apt to go with their own gut feelings about someone.

See? Now my question is: How would you feel if a woman you just met decided to not see you or confront you about this information? I mean, you seem to be glad you are not on there, but, in some sense you are.

Remember, too, it's not just the scorned that put stories on that site, it's also the friends of the people that were hurt. In fact, I have a good friend who was scammed out of a lot of money by a con man and I am thinking of putting his story on there to warn other women. Friends are the ones who are left to pick up the pieces after these creeps do their damage. In some respect we are more bitter about it than the victim.

I would feel pretty nervous. If she pressed, I'm sure I could convince her it's not me. Probably the right thing to do is to just go by a different name. Why ask for trouble?

That's another point Johan just made...the guy can make up another screen name. (Unless we are talking about the guys with first and last names). What if the guys screen name, or first name is only on there? Obviously, it would seem that if you had something going on with someone enough that they could completely make you angry enough to write a review of him, wouldn't you know his whole name?

This is why this site is unreliable in my opinion.

When someone has an ex that bitter, there's usually good reason for it. If someone has multiple bitter exes, run for your life!

I probably wouldn't date a guy who would be on that site in the first place because it seems like ghetto type people are the ones posting on there. Like ghetto, Jerry Springer type people. I mean, doesn't "don't date him grrll" kinda say it all? (no offense anyone.)
