knarf Posted July 14, 2008 Share Posted July 14, 2008 I went out with this girl that I work with for a simple lunch break. We we're both nervous but happy at the same time. Everything went well so we decided to take a 2nd lunch break together. The second lunch break was pretty much the same but the conversation got a little deeper. She did most of the talking which was fine. We both had time to prepare for the 2nd lunch break and she dressed up really nice and fixed her hair up and smelled nice too. So everything looked promising up to that point. I got the impression that she was a daddy's little princess type girl which was okay, but then after lunch we went for a walk at a local store and she kept talking about her birthday which is coming up pretty soon and she was giving me hints on what she wanted and some of that stuff was expensive. I didn't buy her anything and after the lunch break she felt uncomfortable around me when we would talk. Do you think she was upset because I didn't buy her anything or could it have been something I did. Link to post Share on other sites

I like to tell my friends what I like when I see it, not as a gift from them or anything. If she was nervous the first lunch maybe she's nervous this time too. Well one of the things she hinted for was a 300 dollar bike and she told me that nobody wanted to buy it for her. Anyway everything's cool now I broke it off and yesterday she looked sad but today everything went back to normal as if we never dated and she was high spirited.
