bish
Grown woman. I know you don't care for me very much, Bish. However, I'm glad to learn more about you and your situation. Makes me more empathetic. The conclusion I came away with is: we are all humans who make mistakes and learn from them. Cheating, smoking pot, etc. Only one problem, this so-called "mistake" of hers landed me without my kids on a daily basis and landed them in an apartment with a felon. Everybody grab hands and sing "We are the world." C'mon, don't be shy... Uh.....no
luvmy2ns
Well the handful of people YOU know does not speak for drug stats in general. Do read up on the subject and come back and let's discuss. I've worked in criminal justice for 25 + years. I've worked in a prison for three of those years. I've seen, heard, and read way more than you could ever imagine. I'm just sick and tired of people putting the blame on a substance, a circumstance, their mother, their father, their high school teacher, their wife, their husband etc. etc. etc. rather than on their own personal choices. Tomcat33
I've worked in criminal justice for 25 + years. I've worked in a prison for three of those years.. EXACTLY!!! you've worked on the prosecution side of drug addicts, AS IF you are there to understand substance abuse. You are just there to prosecute. When you've worked as a drug councellor, or had drug abuse in your family or close friends, then we can talk. This explains a lot.
bish
So you made no mistake in this situation? I'm not the one the decided to cheat on my spouse and kids. Am I saying I was the perfect husband? No, but I sure as hell wasn't bad. Nobody is perfect in their relationship. But my kids are in the situation they are in now because of HER choices. Not only that it was HER choice to start hanging with the wrong crowd and shack up with a felon. Or is that my fault too?

I'm saying you were living a life less desirable and chose to marry the partner you were living that life with. It wasn't a mistake where you were out to hurt anybody else, but a mistake nonetheless. If you disagree, do you wish you were still married to her? Do you maybe wish you would have picked a different partner?

Yeah but dude, your kids are in that situation of having a mother that chose partying over being a mother and W, that is totally independent of the infidelity, the infidelity is a biproduct of the lifestyle she chose over you and your kids. Infidelity is the least of your problems really if you think about it, the fact you lost your W and your children lost their mother to the party lifestyle is really the problem. luvmy2ns
New Lesson Guys: Drugs good Infidelity bad Oh, drugs can be VERY bad. So can food, if you eat too much, or alcohol, if you drink too much. Cheating is always a bad thing for SOMEBODY. Even drinking too much water can kill a person.

What I don't understand is if she is such a party-type, why she wouldn't want the kids to stay with you.
Tomcat33
People who party excessively are not counting with all their faculties or power of reasoning. That's what happened to your W when she introduced to her life pot, clubs, drinking and long nights out.
Lyssa
Coke is bad for me. I get really high from it. I have to stop consuming Coke. Coca-Cola that is!

Even drinking too much water can kill a person. My point was drug use was okay to the very moral and upstanding citizens of LS-shocked me. But cheaters are bashed. If I were Bish, I'd be asking people not to smoke pot and party as well.
