bish
Why? If you don't mind my asking... Because I don't do drugs, I don't have a felon for a girlfriend, and I don't ignore my kids because I'd rather spend time with a significant other. that and the fact that I love them and they mean everything to me doesn't hurt. Virgo1982
yes, it is. her interests went from being a mother who doesn't break the law or do drugs, to doing those things and hanging with other people that do them. And since I no longer did them, I guess i was just a stick in the mud. That's how you changed. You cleaned up your act and she rolled around in the mud.
luvmy2ns
Sorry, again, typing fast than thinking. They are better off WITH me. Damn right they are! Fight for 'em Bish! With the circumstances, you have a good chance of winning. And the money you currently pay their mother toward support would actually go to your children rather than their mom's partying habits. And you didn't see the follow up post where I said I worded it wrong. I never did drugs and I meant that I no longer did the same things she was into because SHE started doing them. Believe me, with this guy, if he thought it would do any good, he'd advice me to go after them. He told me that her living with someone undesirable, even someone with a record, is not enough to get the kids away from the mother. Fathers get the shaft, period. He said that he has no doubt that if she stays with him that it will only be a matter of time before SHE $#%'s up and then I can go for the throat. But that doesn't make me feel good in the meantime. Wow. That's just wrong. Things have progressed more where I live now and where I moved from 5 years ago. I hope something not too bad happens soon, but bad enough that you can make your case in court to get your kids.

The day I stopped being a victim was the day I filed for divorce. Not true. I did try to offer a different perspective. You never once thought, "how stupid was I to marry her?" I know I've had that thought at some point before I got over a relationship. That, or I shouldn't have done blah, blah. Something to learn, grow and move forward to make lemonade. Virgo1982
No - he WAS a victim. He took care of himself and left. He's not a victim any longer. He was a victim of himself the day he chose to marry her IMO. I just don't see someone doing a complete 180 with a personality like that. Oh well. Let's agree to disagree. bish
Not true. I did try to offer a different perspective. You never once thought, "how stupid was I to marry her?" Thats because she hadn't done that 180 til after we were married...about a year after.

You told me she did a 180, now you are saying you don't see someone doing a 180 in a sitch like this.
