CBNC17
I am a man, 18 years old, and about to start college in a couple weeks. I just got back from college orientation and i met this awesome girl. She gave me her name and told me to look her up on facebook. I saw her a few more times at orientation and we would exchange smiles and say hey. She was always with her room mate though and we wouldn't really start up a conversation. After I got back home I sent her a message on facebook and asked if she had unlimited texting since she lived all the way in Massachusetts and I live in North Carolina. She gave me her number and we texted a little bit yesterday. The whole point is I don't know if she likes me or how i can transition this into somewhat of a relationship. And how often I should text her to keep her interested but yet I dont want her to think I'm obsessive. Please help.
Ronni_W
Slow DOWN, for goodness sake! Text her once a week, Thursday or Friday - "How was your week...have a good weekend." And respond whenever she texts you. Allow it to flow naturally, and all will be well. Right now, you are just a guy she met, and she is just a girl you met. Don't even think about "transitioning" anything...there is really nothing to transition at this point. No worries -- if it is so intended, you guys will develop a friendship or romantic relationship. Just stay cool and leave the space for it to happen.
