kerrieberrie Posted July 28, 2008 Share Posted July 28, 2008 I've been seeing this guy for about a month or so now, and last friday, we went back to his place to watch some DVD. now.. before we got together, i have definitely asked to his face, if he was single and he said yes ok, and I believe him then~ ok~ here's what happened on friday. While i was at his place, his house phone started ringing at 3am, he just said ' i can't believe people are calling this time of the night' dismissed it, left it ringing ...... ??? it could be an emergency? what? scenario no2. he lives on his own, there were 2 bathrooms ok. 1 on the corridor for everyone and 1 ensuite. There were 2 toothbrushes and 1 female moisturiser pack thing in the ensuite. I know, my friends have all said ' why don't you just ask'... how can I without sounding like a complete crazy person? I like him ALOT, so, I'm being extra cautious.... need your opinions please... i'm genuinely worried. PS I'm more worried about the fact that he's cheating on his gf with ME. i don't want to be that girl Link to post Share on other sites

Exclusive would mean that he's saying he's not dating/involved with anyone else....of course, that's just what he's saying... "Single" to some guys means unmarried. If you are normally a trusting person and your little voice is yapping at you, it's probably with good reason. One belongs to my bf. It could be that he had a gf and just never got rid of her toothbrush and moisturizer. I'd ask him about it in a playful way, like, hey, whered this woman's moisturizer come from? Are you metrosexual or something? If he gets nervous that you noticed it, that's a bad sign. If he rattles off w/out thought, oh yeah, that was my ex-gf's, then it's probably fine. Link to post Share on other sites

I live on my own. If my phone rings at 3am, and im supposedly single, im going to pick it up, cause it could be an emergency. Even if I had his docile train of thought, and wondered why someone is calling at 3am, I'd PICK UP THE PHONE. For a single guy, there is NO use for a second toothbrush to be in there. Especially if he's been single for a while.. that 2nd toothbrush would have been thrown out ages ago. Female moisturizer pack?? Do you need to see a box of tampons and nail polish remover to realize that this guy is a player? And a sloppy one at that? my friends have all said ' why don't you just ask'... how can I without sounding like a complete crazy person? How can this guy hear his land line ring at 3am, and have ZERO interest in whom is calling, own two toothbrushes, and own female moisturizing products without looking like a complete dog??
