Author sedgwick Posted July 29, 2008 Author Share Posted July 29, 2008 Dammit...my post got eaten! I'm having trouble with my wireless and only bits and pieces of my posts are showing!! Basically what I was saying is that I haven't gone out, except to run errands or to dance class/rehearsal/performance, since he dumped me in July '07. I've been too scared to talk to people since I'm not an old-time fiddle player. I would really like to go to this party, but I don't think I can actually walk in and be around people, especially not musicians. But I'd like to go to the park where the party is being held and just stand outside and listen to a couple of songs and then leave. I used to love to go out and hear music and dance, but ever since I got dumped for not being a musician I haven't really been able to leave my apartment much. So I guess I'm just looking for words of support. I know that actually GOING to a party and meeting new people is still a few years away at least, but if I can just stand outside for a minute that will be a really big step. It would get you out of the house a bit and you'd be listening to music which sounds to me like its one of your passions.
