Turns out I have a schizoid personality disorder

Recommended Posts

Staring,

Self-diagnosis is not a good idea at the best of times. Using an online "diagnostic tool" is even more dangerous. Too many website are put up by people with minimal or no proper training. Even the respected health facilities (like MayoClinic) caution on their sites to consult with physicians instead of relying on their content alone.

I've found LoveShack members do offer excellent, caring emotional support. But you must avail yourself of proper, professional medical expertise and treatment. That is not available from any online forum or in-person support group.

Was he a professional? If not, you should always get a professional opinion. He might be right but you don't know that for certain. There are a number of disorders which appear to be similar but much of it is by the degrees of each trait and other symptomatic variables.

So do you not see anyone at the moment? You need to get help for this condition you cannot tackle it alone, your life must feel quite void if you suffer every symptom?

You really need to go and see a doctor and see what your best options are.

No one on here can tell you what to do, this is very serious and the wrong advice could be critical for you. seeing the right person could change your whole life!

Make that appointment!

From what I've read on this particular disorder, it's recommended that there be two types of therapy, short-term and long-term therapy.

If it's available to you, plse consider it. I'm guessing that you're no older than in your teens or twenties. If so, the sooner you reroute negative pathways, the easier it is. The long-term therapy includes an entire revamping of the person.

Your text style, how you perceive your father and family and your interaction with Lishy and myself, were the indicators of your age. I could easily have been wrong.

The perception of my family is a symptom I dont think its a age thing... I dont think they will be supportive simply because they have never been

I heard a testimonies that God healed a womanizer and a abuser, totally changed him, and many other testimonies that God healed some people who have mental problems even when therapists claimed themselves cannot cure those people

I myself totally believe in God's power and love. Many people who have mental problems are people who lack of love and hope in their heart. If a person live a life that he loves, he will be very healthy. and God wants people to live a life reach his full potential, and God can help them to reach that.

I found out the more I live a life close to God's plan for me, the more I understand God's love for me, the more I am happy and vivid, I feel I am really alive

anyway, please don't limit yourself

Hope and best wishes
