Want my girlfriend back

Hello All

My ex and I dated for close to a year and a half. She is a very religous Christian, and I am a a very liberal muslim (its a wonder we even started dating...)

Obviously, this caused some problems, but for the most part, our feelings for each other helped us understand one another. Anyways, things were kinda of rocky about two months ago, and then she had to go away to a religous camp. When she got back, we had a bit of an argument, and talked about splitting or taking a break, but that night, things were good. For the next couple of days, it was like nothing had happened. On her third day back, she had to go up to camp for the day. That night, she came back and told me she wanted a break. Later that week, she told me the break was on temporary, adn that we would be getting back together. Again, she had to go to camp for another week. When she got back this time, she dumped me, saying she didn't want a relationship right now, and that she was tired of fighting. I know there is no other guy, if anyone is thinking that.

While she was gone for those three weeks at camp, I missed her a lot. I only saw her once that entire month (the first day she was back, when we fought and reconcilled). Anyways, I know I have neglected her, and we both know we have done things to hurt each other, but my feelings for her seem to have grown exponentially, while hers seem to have dwindled. I have told her that I came to some conclusions while she was away, and how I am a changed man. I even told her I now have an interest in her beliefs (I never did before, but I honestly do now). I have done everything to get her to think about us again, to the point of smothering, but I just feel like she made a huge mistake. Any suggestions? I think if I stop staying in touch with her, here will be zero chance of us getting back together because she will probably find a nice christian boy, and being friends is too hard for me right now.

This is a weird situation, any comments would help.
