All I am saying is family should come before chasing materialistic things you do not need. Family does come first, when there is a family and just because I wanna keep having my social circles and intellectual connections, my vactions, my trips to the spa, and my shoes and purses doesn't mean I can't have that and be a good mother and wife all at the same time. Besides I'm going to need a hot pair of stiletoes, and a dab if my man's favourite perfume when I go down on him, since nothing I do is mechanical or boring a little imagination faciliated by a little money is not a wrong thing, performing a sexual act like you are a meat machine is. She also couldn't cook, clean or get a job, since she relied on her father to support her. TBF, tell us about your dating life. I am sure all large corporations love suckers who feel they have to buy happiness. NO what is a good idea is to allow your child that lives in a CAPITALIST society with capitalist demands, to fit in (within reason of course) so that they can grown up to be a well adjusted and self assured individual. Clearly you missed the point. A pair of K-mart Darth Vader shoes might be a good idea to the folk that came from the mountain villiages since material presence is not important when you live on the mountain, but when they came to this country and decided to adapt to the ways of this particular world they not only accepted to become a part of this society they also exposed their children to it too. If you deny your children a chance to "fit in" to this world you are emotionally messing them up from a very young age. Learning good money management skills from a young age is good, depriving your kids from being a normal part of society and emotionally eating away at their self esteem to preserve this absurd mentality that you must SACRIFICE everything in life to save money which more than likely as an adult you will NEVER part with, is NOT a good way to educate your children. And especially not when it means that same child will be outcasted and ridiculed in school by other kids who do get what they want. Well I do agree that there is a fair amount of over-expenditure happening in today's world there are a lot of ridiculous perks that people come to expect being in certain financial brackets. But that is what living in capitalism is. Move to a communist country if you feel this is too much for you. No one is forcing you to stay here!?!? Go live in a world where the values you subscribe to are met in a more realistic fashion. It seems you really struggle with the ways of our world so why be here? It's easier for you to remove yourself from this society than it is for your to change a whole world to suit you. In certain conepts regarding materialism I would even agree with you but as with anything in life balance is key. Any extreme is too much.
