Intergalactic Posted September 17, 2008 Share Posted September 17, 2008 Looks like I may have to move away, moving away from my ex, which you will all jump in and say is a good thing, but a massivley hard thing for me to do and accept. i know it's hard to do and accept, but it might make it a bit easier. i'm moving away from the city the ex and i live in because i just can't handle it anymore. it's too easy for me to call him and tell him i'm lonely, and for him to come over. it's too easy to spend time with him, which inevitably ends up with me hoping something will happen to change his mind and being hurt because his mind doesn't change. to be able to get over this, over him, keep out of contact and everything, i need to be physically AWAY from him, unable to see him. that will lessen the likelihood of me calling or txting and us spending time together. you can't drive across an ocean. i'm **** scared and so sad to be leaving him behind, but really, what is there to wait for if i stay here? nothing, just more pain, drawn out. Around 5 weeks ago I found out my girl had started seeing someone else before even officially breaking off with me (apparently the man of her dreams is a sexy ******* who treats her like dirt). I believe it makes it easier to let go faster since you are not the one who made a mistake. But I believe it will be very hard to trust someone again. Link to post Share on other sites
