guys advice needed

I am with a guy right now that makes me extremely happy. We are in our mid 20's. He says & does all the right things. I feel that I am in a really good relationship. I was just wondering from a guys point of view what things can a girl do to be considered an awesome girlfriend. I am not gonna change who I am or anything, I just want to make him happy. What makes guys happy? I already make sure that he goes out with his friends still, even though he claims when he is with them he'd rather be with me. I think that is partially because I am so cool about him being out with his friends. Am I right about that? What other things can I do or say to make him feel I'm a great girlfriend. I already feel like he is a great boyfriend, What do guys like?

I am sure he already considers you an awesome girlfriend. Just the fact that you would ask what you can do to be a better girlfriend is evidence of that.

 

Every guy looks for something different in a girlfriend. If you read these posts often, you learn there are many guys who absolutely love ladies who treat them awful, cheat on them, etc. (I don't understand, either)

 

I think most sane guys from good backgrounds look for a lady who is not too demanding, communicative, a good conversationalist, someone who takes care of herself, a lady who is also a great friend he can do things with, someone who is comfortable doing her own thing as well as being together, and especially someone who does little things to make him feel special.

 

It is very important not to overdo it, though. Humans are genetically programmed to take things for granted. If you are wonderful 24/7, that could spell trouble. So, at times, be unpredictable and do something...not bad...but something out of character. Offer him a challenge to keep up with you.

 

You are in the best position to know what will make him happy because you know what his likes and dislikes are. I think it's awesomely sweet that you care enough to be the best for him. He better appreciate that or I'll deck him.

 

Most of all, be yourself and try not to change over time. The old saying often holds true: Women love men they can change while men love women who will never change. Just remember not to let time dull the passion you feel for making him happy. And if he ever ever takes you for granted, put your foot down right there!!!

Thanks for the advice Tony, but I mean more specific things, like what are things that guys like. Example, I purposly go out with my friends one night on the weekend so that he will go out with his. Is this a good idea. Do you have any other ideas, things guys like? I'm not trying to change I'm just trying to do things to make him happy.
