I am almost exclusively attracted to skinny white guys with blonde or red hair. I've been attracted to dark haired guys, but not as instinctively. Isn't that bizarre? I myself have brown hair and dark features, so I guess it's a going for opposites sort of thing. I find myself irked by this type thing though because it masks personality, (Although I'll concede there's a certain personality that tends to go along with this type too that I find myself weirdly attracted to) and overall seems like a pretty dumb criterion. I can think till I'm blue in the face and it'll still come down to the fact that a cute guy with blonde hair will be infinitely preferred by me to the cute guy with brown hair and "dark-and-handsome" features. Also, the few guys that have liked me were all dark haired. Maybe I need to change my type ^^ Link to post Share on other sites

I don't think of these traits as "standards" by any means -- a personal connection trumps virtually everything -- they are just what my eyes seem to be drawn toward most easily. I'm a guy and I go for women with dark hair, dark eyes, and very curvy bodies. Maybe a little odd because I have dark features myself. Skinny blondes and/or redheads don't do it for me. The irony is much of the time those are the ones that are attracted to me. I think personality has a lot to do with it. The ditzy blonde is not a stereotype that was created out of thin air. I don't go for airhead, and I've met more blonde airheads than dark haired airheads. I find dark haired women more alluring for some reason. Link to post Share on other sites

Long dark hair, deep brown eyes, curvaceous, and tanned. If Morena Baccarin rode a motorcycle, I could die happily knowing that the *Perfect* woman truly does exist! That, and $4.50 gets me a Latte at Starbucks. In real life, a bright smile and a pleasant disposition is what really does it for me, no matter what type of package they come in. Once a conversation happens, all bets are off for preferences. Intelligence and personality trumps all, amongst a long list of other needs and wants. Maybe I need to change my type ^^ Attraction is not like changing a light fitting. You are attracted to who you are attracted because that's what you're hormones are looking for. I am attracted to lots of different girls, tall, short, blonde, brunette, red hair, short hair, long hair, big boobs, small boobs etc (You get the picture), but I am predominately attracted to my own race, that's just what I am attracted too. We all have our preferences as to what makes someone attractive to us or what traits we are attracted to more and I don't think anyone should compromise these unless they are widely unrealistic. I don't believe people should be called shallow or superficial either. These two words like the word racism have been overstated, misused and abused by those who are too ignorant to understand the context in which these words can be used.
