Life has been pretty good up untill the last 3 or 4 months...I have been seeing someone, whom, well told me to start talking about myself, or this party was going to walk away..I have, it has brought out some issues i have had for a long time, but never confronted..well, now, this party has opened up the can or worms so to speak, and doesnt want the repercussions of it. It has been a trying time for this party, but, now, it's deal with it, or i will leave time..the money to be treated for someone with 3rd level ppo isnt viable..Now, this party's options is adding to the stress level of having to deal with some things that, to me, where just better off locked away and forgotten..what in the world do i do???..thanks..

What's 3rd level ppo???

Look this was bound to happen some time, if not with this 'party' then someone else would have whipped out the can opener and before you know it, worms all over the place. These things have a tendency to come out, you can't just sweep it under the carpet forever. However nor can you expect this 'party' to deal with the repercussions, just because they happened to open your particular can of worms does not mean that they are qualified to deal with whatever emotions etc that you're going through, and it is too much to expect of anyone to understand and cope with.

As I'm not sure exactly what you're going through I can't advise on other less costly options, but I'm sure there must be some out there somewhere.

Paddington is exactly right...suppressing that kind of stuff will come out "sideways" until your mind-body-spirit just can't cope, and then would have exploded all over the place. At least this way, you still have some control over how you choose to deal with it.

"PPO" seems to have something to do with your group benefits and a concern that cognitive talk therapy (psychotherapy) may be too expensive for you. I would suggest that you at least check into that before reaching your final conclusion.

An alternative and cost-effective option may be available, depending on where you live. Google "psychotherapy training" in your area (or other educational institutions of which you're aware.) Contact the school and ask if their graduating psychotherapy/psychology students are required to do internships as part of accreditation. Very often, those sessions are offered at no or low cost. Double-check that the interns are supervised so that you'll be assured of excellent care.

Wishing you a very successful therapeutic outcome. The beginnings may be tough going, but if you want to "kill these worms" once and for all, and to ensure you happy and successful (dysfunction-free) future, you may decide that it will be worth it.
