Author Ariadne
Yes, A., if it interferes with your everyday life (which you claimed it does), and for sooooo long...then I would say it is an illness, a disorder. Can you see this? The only thing that is interfering with my life is my lack of interest in most anything, especially work. Do you know what it is to just sit and not know what to do but to read spiritual scriptures all day? And when you turn on the tv you want to puke? And when you see other people you think they are nuts? I understand the people's mentalities, I can see that much, but I feel like I have nothing to do. On top of that, DG stopped writing and that is not helping much.
Author Ariadne
(Btw, the reason I have to sit and read spiritual scriptures all day is because I need to sit in a cubicle for 8 hours because I need the money to pay the rent, and to save to buy a trailer. If I were completely free, I wouldn't know what to do either... I guess do a mission? I don't know)
tinke
It is YOUR CHOICE to sit around and read scriptures all day. What are your co-workers doing? working? Only YOU can break out of your cycle. There's a ton of things to do, but you must take the first step in doing them. D.G. CANNOT make you happy, you are responsible for that job!

Actually, I am what is called in "crossover" at the moment. That is, without assignment. The company has funds for a number of people in that. What I do is to manage to stay in crossover as much as I can. Since the company has over 7,000 employees (just in the site I am at) I'm close to invisible. But they are putting the pressure on now. tinke
So then why not WORK at work, particularly if the pressure is on.
allina
So then why not WORK at work, particularly if the pressure is on. That would apply to most people but not really Ariadne. She doesn't want a career, fancy house, expensive car or the type of life that goes along with those things. She's whimsical and in her own little world.
tinke
Fancy car, expensive home? I am speaking of simple work ethics.

Well, if they give me a little task for a couple weeks I do it. But when they hook me up with one of their projects I try and exit. Their work there is a pain in the butt. It's airplane and satellite code of million files, I can't even stand looking at it. (I thought it was exciting at some point though). And you are right Allina, the only thing I want is to be free. So I'm just saving for my trailer to get out of there as soon as I can.

marlena
Ariadne, my dear, come on!! You can do better than this! Where's that warrior spirit? Put your stubborness to some good use and cast DG to oblivion. Surely you're smarter than this, no?

Trialbyfire
This is not healthy, and people should not enable this obsessive, delusional and stalking behavior. If this was a guy doing this to a female poster, the Thread would be ablaze with posts exhorting the female victim to contact the police or take similar steps to deter an obsessive individual who simply will not take "no" for an answer. The behavior is not only self-destructive to A but harassing to DG who has not spoken to A in 4 years. Get yourself some medication and counseling, A, and a new life. The mods should shut down this Thread. I completely agree with this. That's why I haven't bothered posting in this thread previously, since it's only giving attention to something really unhealthy. marlena
My warrior spirit is more of the enduring kind. Fine, then, if the path of endurance is the one you choose to travel, who am I to say you are wrong? You know yourself better than anyone. Still, it seems quite the oxymoron as to endure means to persevere without complaint. Anyway, dear heart, you know better.

Well, I guess if I convince myself that this is like beating a dead horse I'll move on. But he stopped writing just a few days ago.. Still too recent for me to wrap my head around that, after all these years. Thanks Marlena, and nice to see you.
whichwayisup
Another thought here, but A, your son knows about DG and how you feel, yes? Does he believe you should be sitting and wasting your love, energy and care for some guy who couldn't care less about you? Or does he believe that DG is your soulmate and encourages you to continue to write/call him? Just wondering. Anyway, it's your life. Your choice..Just know that YOU are missing out on some wonderful man, (NOT DG) who could be taking you out for a nice dinner, romancing you, loving you and most of respecting you. It's sad that you waste your time on DG. Wish you'd get over him and put yourself out there for real to meet some new guy face to face.

That guys are pretty forgiving with girls for stuff like this, and to give him time to cool off. He was even teasing me when it happened: Ohh... this is the end of DG! taking you out for a nice dinner, romancing you, loving you and most of respecting you. It's sad that you waste your time on DG. Most guys I meet are like all other guys, nobody is like me. DG is.Thats because he is your twin flame/twin soul In the beginning of time man had four legs and four arms, but this gave him too much strength and made him insolent toward the gods. As a result the gods split them in two. This diminshed their strength and made them less insolent, but as they had had only one brain and one soul it left them incomplete So as an eternal punishment man is left longing for the other half of his mind and soul to complete himsef and wanders the earth in search of that which makes him whole again Denver Guy is the other half. The only one who can complete you. And you are the only one who can complete him
