Well...one of my biggest problems is telling the difference between a girl who is just nice or playing around in a friendly way and when a girl is trying to hint at something.

yea...so. What are the easiest ways to find out?

Bumping this thread, I'd be interested if someone responded to this question to.

I have a a feeling the OP is a bit over-analytical on situations like myself but overall in this day and age it is VERY hard to tell the difference between a girl who is flirting and a girl who is just being very friendly.

who cares if a girl likes you or not just use opening as a sign to talk to a girl you like.

The easiest way to tell the difference is to ask her out on a DATE without any of the ambiguity that younger guys seem to display.

I'm sorry this phrase didn't make sense to me....

"Without any of the ambiguity that younger guys seem to display."

What the heck does that mean? Asking someone out on a date is anything but ambiguous.

It seems pretty easy, doesn't it? If you read the number of threads where girls are saying "Is this a date?", as in some of these coffee dates, etc., you would understand what I'm saying.

The men I date aren't ambiguous and yes, they're older. There's zero confusion whether it's a date or not, except in one instance from a business contact. As far as I was concerned, it was a business dinner to discuss a client/vendor relationship. The ambiguity lay in his attraction and historical pattern of asking me out. So, I dressed in business attire, brought a pretty pamphlet and my laptop.

He's now a good client of mine, staying well back of the business line in the sand. No need to hurt egos. :)

So what your saying is you're older and your a woman who has never had to ask a girl out or spot the signals... So why exactly are you trying to give advice on this subject.

It is for you to devise ways to find out. I say ask her what she is looking for right now..

I hope that's a rhetorical question. You're right that she probably hasn't asked out a girl or had to 'spot the signals', but she's done better; she's given the signals. Who better to answer a question on the signals that women give than a woman?

Hahaha maybe if I was a woman and I was asking how to know if I as a woman like a guy she'd be good at giving the internal signals... But no if you made her a man for a week or what ever and she had to get a gf or date or what ever she'd probably stink or at a minimum have a learning curve she'd have to get over before she was good.

Agreed; as a guy, she'd have a learning curve five miles long. The signs girls give off that they think are in letters 30' high come across looking like the fine print on the 18th line of the disclaimer of a medical advertisement. That's precisely why I was hoping more women would respond to this thread. I'm sure that, for every one signal we pick up on (correctly or not), the girl probably sent out five others that we completely missed. And I wanna know which ones I'm missing!!

Awww... you're making me blush! :o

I can guarantee that I could read female signs far, far easier and more accurately than you guys! As for being a guy, no thanks. I love being a woman. :p

Long answer short don't worry about signs just go for the women you like and don't be afraid about getting rejected.

have you touched her in a sensitive way? like held her? thats a big part of flirting

just be extra touchy if she like it, then she might just like you, and ask her out also
