skirt
I am a M-F transgendered person looking for a female. Can anyone tell me how to find a girl that likes people like me?
quankanne
good question, and I'll answer by saying that if you have access to a computer, look up organizations that cater to singles with similar backgrounds. I think that'd be your best bet to weed out people you've no interest in dating.
Author skirt
Thank-you Quankann. I will try to find an organization.
Tony T
Try not to be so cross when you dress.
Jamie31
So you are a man that dresses like a woman??? Hmmm....then don't you like men?? I don't know of any women that would find that sexy...I sure wouldn't.

The original poster stated that he was a "crossdresser," not a homosexual. The terms are not interchangeable and most "crossdressers" are heterosexual.
Jamie31
Then why would any straight guy wanna do that? I mean, what's the point?
Tony T
YOU ASK: "Then why would any straight guy wanna do that? I mean, what's the point?" Ask the Scottsmen...they often wear kilts, especially for formal occasions, and enjoy the comfort. Even though I've never warn a dress, bra, panties, etc., they appear to be fairly comfortable. I think crossdressers would do so for the comfort and because they are just plain bored of Wranglers and Fruit of the Loom.
Paul Posted August 23, 2003 Board of Directors Share Posted August 23, 2003 Originally posted by Jamie31 Then why would any straight guy wanna do that? I mean, what's the point? People do things for lots of reasons and one of life's important lessons is learning that it doesn't have to make sense to you to make sense to someone else. "Crossdressers," or more accurately people who have transvestic fetishism, partake in the activity for the same reason any other person with a fetish--for sexual gratification. Transvestites are sexually aroused by dressing as is typical for the opposite gender. The majority do not want a sex change, nor are they interested in homosexual relationships--they simply enjoy dressing as is common for the opposite sex. Some transvestites may also experience discomfort with their gender role or identity. As to the why's, perhaps the original poster would be kind enough to explore his involvement in cross dressing. It is not, by any means, exclusive to men.

How men and woman dress is specific to the culture and traditions of various groups of people. What may be considered cross dressing in North America, may be perfectly acceptable forms of dress elsewhere.
Jamie31
I can understand why a woman would want to dress like a man, but you are telling me that bras and panties are more comfortable to a man that boxers? That high heels are more comfotable than tennis shoes? That a form fitting dress is more comfortable than jeans and a t-shirt??????? I beg to differ!!! Anyone who thinks that is crazy!! I can understand doing it as a sexual fetish, but NOT for comfort!!!! I am a woman, and I hate wearing dresses and pantyhose...they are so uncomfortable and always having to worry about keeping your legs closed...what a rucus!! I don't see why any man would want to dress like a woman, but hey, that's just my little ole opinion.

I'm sure in your lifetime you've run across people who would not be caught dead in jeans and a t-shirt. I can understand doing it as a sexual fetish, but NOT for comfort!!!! See above. I am a woman, and I hate wearing dresses and pantyhose...they are so uncomfortable and always having to worry about keeping your legs closed...what a rucus!! You are a woman, but you don't speak for all women. I don't see why any man would want to dress like a woman As stated in my earlier post, transvestic fetishism is not exclusive to males. Anyone who thinks that is crazy!! but hey, that's just my little ole opinion. So what is it? If people don't share your opinion or beliefs, they're crazy? There's nothing "little" about that. This thread was not intended as an opportunity to critique the original poster's sexual interests, but rather how he could find a potential mate and avoid people such as yourself who do not or who are unwilling to understand his fetish. If you'd like to continue talking about the fetish itself, please start a new thread.

cindy0039
I don't know about where you live, but in large towns like where I live there are actually night clubs/bars where crossdressers go to see and be seen and feel comfortable being around others like themselves and people who might be interested in them (and don't JUDGE them). But I don't think the establishments actually advertise as such; it's more a word of mouth type of thing. You definitely should search the internet and try to find a forum or group in your area and see if maybe they all meet at certain places to socialize. Good luck!
