God does provide, but human has to step out and do based on faith in God. Did God give Israel promising land? yes. but Israel had to trust and go to that land Bible says "God directs our steps" When we walk, God can direct our steps. If we don't walk at all, then sit in idle and waste life. I don't think God wants us to waste life.
