Understanding dreams.....

Recommended Posts

I find myself to have very bizarre dreams afew days right before my period. What's up with that? ANother thing, when I do dream, it always seems to be about people who I don't know. And one last thing, I find that sometimes when I do dream that I dream about sex and being intimate. That is probubly not strange but what is the deal? What do dreams about having sex with someone you know say? What do the dreams of people you don't know, but not involved with in any sexual manner say? I just always was curious about dreams but never really understood them. And sure I purused through those dream books, but I want to know others opinions.

Keep pen and paper beside you.And write down your mood before you dream. After you have the dream, when you wake up,get up and write it down beside your mood. Then try to study what your dream meant by the mood you were feeling.

Hi :D

The second you wake up, write down every detail you can remember about your dream. Remember your emotions, surroundings, and colours are also very significant, if you can remember those. Remember people, where you were and what it looked like. Then look up "dream dictionary" on Google or something. I used to have a huge dream dictionary that you'd look up the items in your dreams and it'd give you the meanings. Even things that don't seem significant, like a car in the background, or going through a door, whatever - they all have meanings. The meanings are usually not as literal as the dream, for example, a train/bus journey in your dream can mean a spiritual or emotional journey in your life, a transition. Dreaming of sex could mean you are simply thinking about sex, but it can also highlight a need for intimacy, mental closeness with a fellow human being, not just physical closeness. It's actually really interesting once you get into the habit of writing it all down! It can tell you a lot about the way you're feeling.

I have just the opposite problem.. per se..

I dream whenever... and well most of what of what I ponder upon in such dreams.. eventually seems to come true.. (including deaths)..

How strange is that! I'm not some psycho person or anything like that. but it does kind of freak me, when a day, week, or month later something occurs, but yet for the 2nd time!!
