At least I will know more of where I stand by his reaction because now I think that every next meting will be the one where I will get fired. It was a good thing that he didn't bring up the email, imagine how embarrassing. He read it and that's all you care, hopefully he'll be more understanding. And it seems like it's working. Do you really need to be taking all this time off you have been doing for "personal problems." Sorry but divorce and breaking up with your boyfriend don't merit a day off, that's just life.
