Yeti
what do you guys think? i know a girl that you could almost label as perfect... she has the sweetest personality, she's smart, and she is extremely attractive. there isn't much i don't know about her or her family... for i've known her since she was seven, this is because she is the sister to my best friend. there is 3 years separating us in age, her being 18 and me 21. i know for a fact that she is attracted to me, lately though i've realized that i'm also attracted to her... i've been ignoring it because of being so close to the family and such good friends with her brother. both her parents and brother are extremely over protective, and i think that might also have been pushing me away... i'm mainly concerned on what you think of dating a friend's sibling though... has anyone tried it before? what kind of outcome? - Yeti

Tony T
Be sensitive and discrete and make your move...slowly. If you don't go after her, I will!!!
A guest to the site
I've been in a similar situation with one of my best friends, and it can work very well if you are very honest with the friend and continue to invest in your friendship with that person. If you focus all of your affection/time on the sibling who you have developed feelings for, it will cause jealousy issues and insecurity. The strength of your relationship with the friend is crucial to making it work. Best wishes!
