ronlynn
OK so I have moved on now..... but one funny thing she told me is that she LOVES her new man...this comes 26 hours after I told her I was leaving. She goes on and on about he is what she had been searching/looking for her entire life. She has never met this man in person....only online and on the phone. Is it possible or has anyone ever fell "in love" with someone they never met????
D-Lish
No... It's not likely at all. I suspect it's a reaction to you leaving and wanting to make you hurt as she is hurting.

Too bad it didn't hurt me at all..... she is not hurting...so she says.....she just threw away 7 years for 7 weeks of chatting with her new man..... the love of her life....she will do anything to make him happy.....LOL He is over a thousand miles away...never seen him. Obviously she is a fool then and I get the feeling you already know that. Some people just latch on to any communication and overreact because they have no one else because they are depressed/alone. Wicked Smile
Seems to me she is caught up in the illusion of a relationship. When or if they DO meet this will come crashing down. It's SO easy to put on a mask and chat with a stranger online. Becoming everything they want. It's quite something else to be in an actual relationship and be that fake for too long. Her fantasy is in the danger zone and will most likely be crumbling when expectations don't equal reality. I must ask though, How did you and her get in this state to begin with? Neglect? Abuse? Trust? Sex nonexistant?

Her fantasy is in the danger zone and will most likely be crumbling when expectations don't equal reality. I must ask though, How did you and her get in this state to begin with? Neglect? Abuse? Trust? Sex nonexistant? She claims I didn't listen to her or know that she was upset over money issues. Back in Aug she asked me to start giving her 500.00 a month on top of the other things I was already paying for/buying. So I did. That didn't fix the problem and she didn't say anything else or that she was behind on bills. Then I found out she was chatting with this guy and seeing where it was heading, I confronted her about it and she was pissed that I had been spying on her. Then she told me she needed 1,000 a month on top the other stuff, so I paid that the beginning of Dec...... I was out a week later by my decision. So now she says her friend has helped to realize that she has been in a Emotionally and Verbally abusive relationship for years. LOL There was never any verbal abuse on either side and emotionally she claims that because I didn't listen to her. I was emotionally abused when she started talking to him on the phone, in the house for 4 plus hours at a time..... when the phone sex started I was out the door. The best part is two days after she told me she was in love with him, she told me he was moving in a few months and they are getting married. He is from Canada and a Canadian immigrant.
