my_lynn
so last night me and a girlfriend went out to celebrate the ending of our semester. we were at a bar, then a guy that talks to her called her up and told us to meet him at another bar. once we got there i was just hanging out and talking with the whole group. later in the evening i spotted a guy that was totally my type, gorgeous! and eyeing me. to make a long story short, we talked for awhile, just bull****ting honestly. we didn't get into anything deep, we talked about where we went to school and so on... both flirting, etc. i was over there talking to him and a couple of other guys, when my friends guy came over and was saying how we were leaving, which didn't make sense because i didn't come with him. i just shrugged it off, the guy i was talking to actually asked if that was my boyfriend, when i said no, he replied with a "good". anyway.. we ended up leaving in such a rush, i barely got a chance to say goodbye to this guy, let alone exchange any sort of number. as i turned to wave, he blew a kiss and next thing i knew i was being pushed out of the bar. the only reason they were in a rush to leave was because my friend and her guy wanted to hook up, which is fine, but don't push me out of the door like the place was burning down or something!! .. it honestly all happened so fast that there was no time for it to register. so my question is, how do i see this guy again?! i mean, i don't want to go up to the bar, it is small, lots of regulars.. so on and so forth. plus i don't want to be all stalker type. or, should i just let it go? thing is.. i'm really upset at myself about the whole situation and i can't stop thinking about it. and i don't know why..... norajane
Wait a couple of weeks, and go back there with a friend. He might be there. However, you said that your friends' guy came over to tell you that they were leaving and you "shrugged it off". Does that mean there was time for your guy to ask for your number before you were rushed out of the bar? I mean, he had time to ask you if he was your bf...he could have asked for your number then since he knew you were leaving.
Author my_lynn
i don't really know if he knew we were leaving... my friends guy just kinda said it and then introduced himself to the guy i was talking to and his friends. but i guess that makes sense. i just don't know why i can't get over it..! it's frustrating me. so you think i should go back? i just feel that it has the potential of being weird. Shnuggles
Life does this a lot. Learn from it, move on. If you're lucky he will be a regular on the popular nights the bar is open. Pop in from time to time and you might get lucky.
