Gypsie Posted December 28, 2008 Share Posted December 28, 2008 Well, I found out last night, that the guy I like is now seeing someone. Guess he only did just see me as a friend after all. It hurts and it's got me thinking 'what's this chick got that I don't?' I also feel that maybe I just wasn't good enough for him. . He only had just gotten out of a 5 year relationship so maybe this won't last long, who knows. When we all went out and he ended up meeting up with her towards the end of the night, I just had to grin and bare it. I noticed he was texting a lot before hand and they seemed pretty into each other. Luckily I had my girlfriends there to help me get distracted from the situation. He is friends with my room mate. Don't know how I should react next time I see him... Don't want to make it too awkward for anybody. Any advice? Link to post Share on other sites

You're sabotaging yourself from the start, because even if - IF - you two did get together, you'd always be thinking "yeh, but he had HER first.... maybe I'm second-best"......! You're wonderul just as you are. You're perfect, and lovely and right for someone. Just not him. Right now. Or maybe ever. Just be happy to be his friend, be happy for him, and enjoy your life and keep yourself open and optimistic for a someone who you will connect with. Life is about you making you happy.
