cindy0039
What is the best time of day to take your multivitamin? Should you take it with food? Are there foods or liquids you should avoid when taking it?
Jamie31
You can take a multivitamin any time of the day...that doesn't matter. They are just to supplement the vitamins and minerals that you aren't getting in your daily diet. It never hurts to take one...everyone should, probably. But it doesn't matter when or how you take it.
Ryan
A good multivitamin will be time-released over at least 6-8 hours. This makes it more valuable to take it earlier in the day rather than late, but it's not a BIG deal.
moimeme
I knew someone who took all her vitamins at night. She figured they'd stay in the gut longer and more would get digested.
Jamie31
that's silly......and not true, btw.
Author cindy0039
Well, I finally put my glasses on (for the fine print) and read the bottle that mine come in. It says to take with food, so I'm gonna take them in the morning when I eat breakfast. Thanks for all the advice. My doc told me I should take them every day, so I intend to do that from now on. I don't know if it's in my head or not, but I seem to have more energy when I take them.
moimeme
I've been taking them ever since I got sick after my mom died. They have made a big difference in my immunity and ability to heal. If I slack off, it's noticeable.
