I know. But people seem to still be hung up on what was said to her before she ended the R with the X.

MODS - could we split this thread off into a new thread after the R with her ex ended? It would make more sense and prevent people from posting things that don't apply to the current situation.

Thanks!

You do not love your boyfriend or the other guy. You are a player and should just let guys know that you casual date for fun with no strings attached.

It is really terrible what you are doing, going around leading guys on and breaking their hearts.

Guy dont just get a new girl in a day, it take a lot of time and work on there part. They have to talk to quiet a few women until they find something that clicks.

Women on the other hand have guys talking to them every day, and getting a new guy is quiet easy for a women.

You are not marriage material, you are just date for the night material and should be fair to men and let them know so they can be warned and not get there lives destroyed.

I tried to post a seperate thread on this but no responses. Mr. Right and I belong to a group and I am trying to figure out how to remain a part of the group without creating awkward situations. I wanted to go to an event tonight, and I even prepaid, but I didn't go because Mr. Right is going. Of course I am going out with Mr. Right tomorrow so I'll get plenty of time with him :-).

You see, there are two problems:

1) His ex belongs to the group. She has tried to befriend me on numerous occasions. Talk about awkward.

2) Facebook dilemma...many of the people in the group are my friends on facebook. My friend has posted a ton of pictures all over FB of me and Mr. Right holding hands. Plus he "tickled" me with superpoke. So I am sure that everyone is wondering what is up between us.

My friend's advice was to not go to any group events until we are an official couple, or officially friends, or what not. I would usually be the one to say, "What's the big deal? Can't we just go and have fun and tell people we are friends?" but because of the two reasons listed above, I am hesitant. Does anyone have ideas?

I think you're right with your gut. For now you're friends, let it develop. Don't give in to potential drama.

This poem illustrates how I feel about Mr. Right. We went for a walk yesterday in the woods...the first hike of spring!

With You

You fill me with light

and energy and warmth

I see only beauty

I hear only truth

even as spring blossoms

:)

It doesn't rhyme.

Just kidding.

Hope it all works out for you, but I think you might want to slow down a little.

Slow down? Nobody is rushing. We are taking it slow both emotionally and sexually. In fact, our relationship is like a Schmidt truffle: I want to savor it and make it last. If you mean that I am totally infatuated with him, well yes I am! It feels like flying to be with him! But no harm in that..it is quite fun! :)

Wow! Seems like the first half and the second half of your post were written by two different people. That instantaneous switch there was quite impressive.

You seem to seek out emotional ups and downs. It's all good, if that's what you're into.

Good luck with Mr. Right, hope he won't turn into Mr. Right Now. But even if he does, I'm sure there's a Mr. Great right around the corner waiting to be discovered by you.

I made out with Mr. Right last night and it was amazing! :D We have decided to wait three months before taking any clothes off. The connection we have is so beautiful! I am going to see him again this weekend.

Oh my goodness, somebody please help me slow down! I have been dating Mr. Right for three weeks and just spent 24 hours with him. I have never been so happy or felt such a strong connection with anyone except maybe my former best friend of ten years. I feel so lucky and blessed and it scares me because, well, how can one person be so blessed? I try to tell myself to have faith and to know that everything happens for a reason and that I am becoming a wiser, happier, more beautiful person each day...with or without Mr. Right. Easier said than done. Help!

Dammit I've tried!!

Have you looked into the books I've PM'd you.

If you don't slow down You're REALLYYY gonna regret it. Then this thread will have come full circle and will continue on into eternity.

Maybe the reason is to teach you to not be so dramatic/codependent and get swept up in your emotions. Slow down, get to know each other and try to build a lasting relationship.

This does sort of have the texture of someone climbing on a new high-performance motorcycle and screaming off with no helmet. Yeah, she might get there safely, but...

Hotdancer, you've come a long way! Emotions are very very powerful. I've noticed with many people that as they get older they get more and more in control of these emotions.

I'd reccomend you set up things to do with yourself or your friends. Set up more and more hobbies and such, separate from your relationship. Do things which are fun for you. This is so important!

I would love for things to work out between you and Mr. Right. What if they don't and he breaks up with you? Do everything you can to hold your head high. You were so devestated on your breakup in January and just two months later you've found someone else! Now you know that if it doesn't work out, there may be someone even better.

Does anyone else think we are dealing with a 14 year old here?

She acts just like my gf's daughter.

I finally finished reading the entire thread in 2 hours... :lmao:

If I hadn't read the dates along with the posts I honestly could have mistaken everything to have occur over a very short period of time. And it hardly even seem to be that long either, seeing as it's only been three month's time.

Having understood everything, hotdancer, I don't have any criticisms other than what has been stated in this thread over and over again. I would strongly advise you to reread your early posts before posting an update. It'll give you more insight than all of LS put together.

As for Mr. Right, I have my worries about you jumping into a relationship too quickly. But nobody can stop you from your so- called " impulsive tendencies". My advice: you're still young. Learn to take small steps rather than diving head first into every little thing relationship related. Learn to have balance in life especially with your emotions.
