Can you ever try to forgive someone if they never physically cheated, but were dishonest about other things?

You aren't thinking about taking him back again, are you?

Don't be stupid like that.

i won't take him back...i have my dogs there and my car...all of my other stuff i packed and shipped (we are across the country from each other now that i left) and i'm talking to him to arrange getting my dogs and selling the car (it's old so it won't make the drive out here)

he just keeps begging and saying everything i want to hear.

i won't do it though...i can't. i just can't.

This guy is a lying, cheating LOSER.

You'll stop caring about his begging and false, empty promises as soon as you meet another guy you're interested in. It's not hard to find someone better than a known liar and cheater, so you shouldn't have any trouble with that.

And STOP talking to him about anything other than getting your dog and car taken care of.

Good advice! It's easy to forget that there are honest, good men out there and that you deserve better. Don't let him suck you in-he's not going to change. He can't even admit what he did. No self-awareness at all. Just like my ex, he probably blames others for his own screwups.
