Time to break up

So, been with my partner 11 months. 3 in long distance. I came for to visit him for the holidays, during our 3 month long distance he was saying I love him more thant he does. Now, when I came everything was as it used to be...but in 4 days I am leaving again. I have put n my mind that once I go it is over, as he did that before. But I am not sure if to talk it out or not. I have a lot of build up resentment, as I feel he wants me "just for now". In addition, in this holidays, a girl kept on calling him who is living in another state. He says he met her through chat and it is "nothing" It really bothers me, but doest not do anything about it..he does not care. Can somene advice what should I do? How should I do it? I am hurt, confused, sad that this is happening and very "chicken to let go..."

Have to say, Princess75, it doesn't sound good. Don't know what's going on in his head, but it certainly sounds like he doesn't care about your feelings and is just stringing you along.

 

You could just say nothing and let him continue to treat you like a discarded toy that he's tired of playing with.

 

Or, you could adopt the philosophy that "the best defense is a good offense" -- IOW, instead of waiting for him to dump you again, take control of your life, and boot him to the curb, first.

 

If you're not ready to do that, and you can't muster the courage to talk to him about what's going on and what you both want out of your relationship, consider this bit of wisdom from Albert Einstein:

 

"Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."
